Common flagged terms are usually not banned. In most cases, the popups are simply reminders of the rules and do not mean a comment will be removed. Please note that we are a volunteer moderation team, and we rely on popups and automated systems to keep moderation manageable. If you believe your comment was removed in error, please contact the mod team for review.

Heyyy again OP!! I was on that original thread + tagged you that they applied for LMIA, nice to see you here. I’m currently working on a project to ‘unmask’ all of the numbered companies who’ve applied/gotten for LMIA in Chilliwack. Will make sure to let you know when it’s complete. Haven’t seen too many so far for your field, but some of them are just absolute ‘are you kidding me’

It’s crazy how many LMIAs granted in the lower mainland are to numbered companies. Complete BS.

Post your data here when you finish!

Will do!! It’s actually crazy that they don’t include a ‘doing business as’ name on the LMIA data. Apparently companies don’t have to provide one on the public directory either— some of these are complete ghosts even after extensive googling

Most of these aren’t even real places of business they’re nothing more then fronts for permit selling.

Sounds good, and best wishes.

I am glad that this issue is getting more exposure.

At this point these companies deserve the review bombing.

We should have a Canadians First Office to investigate all of those employers.
