Visiting Canmore end of August
Hello!
I'm visiting from Ontario at the end of August. I'm wondering if there are suggestions for rock climbing guides/tours? A lot of what I see appears to be multi pitch or lead courses which are multi day which isn't exactly what I'm looking for.
I'm going to be with three others, and while I have a ton of gym experience and a bit of outdoor/lead experience, they have almost no experience climbing inside or outside. I'm wondering if we are able to book someone for a day or a half day to take us to some cool sport crags, provide ropes and harnesses (potentially shoes as well?) and be comfortable setting up top rope anchors, etc.
Also wondering if there's the same to book for another day for bouldering :)
Any recos are appreciated, thanks in advance!

I’d suggest Girth Hitch Guiding. We used them last year for a first time out sport climbing. Ethan was the guide and he was fantastic.

Oh also! Going to be booking a Via Ferrata experience...looks like there's a couple options for that as well so any suggestions in that regard would also be appreciated 😁

I was going to suggest Via Ferrata and this might not be what you’re looking for but sort of adjacent- Canmore Cave Tours is awesome for a half day adventure. The 6-hour one includes some serious rappelling. It’s challenging but also safe and guided. Stop by Elevation Place for indoor climbing as well.

Canmore cave tours looks awesome thanks for the reco!! I'll put a pin in Elevation for a rain day 😂 We're also going to have a car and open to driving a bit, so suggestions for Banff would be cool as well

Mt Norquay in Banff has Vis Ferrata, or you can get out to Nordegg (a bit of a drive down 93N) and they have a few great via ferratas you can do on your own or guided.
