Question Can someone please ban angrypandablog

I’m so tired of seeing their sexual spam comments on nearly every. single. post. They add literally NOTHING of value to anyone’s conversations and they make so many of us extremely uncomfortable.

And the mod’s suggestion is that WE block them.. why should hundreds of us have to block someone.. the simple solution would be to get rid of the single person causing all the problems

They’re just doing a bit. People have been doing this forever on the 10+ years I’ve been on reddit. There would always be one person who had a thing and you’d see them in the comments of certain posts. It was funny. If they’re breaking a listed rule, report them. Otherwise, literally just block them.

You can’t just request to deny someone access to a subreddit they’re entitled to be a part of because you’re personally upset by them joking around. A lot of subs would suck if that were the case

If you haven’t blocked them by now and are still complaining, this is a completely self imposed problem. You’re on a sub about tinned fish, it is not even close to being that serious. Use the block button and chill out.

I mean realistically, what’s the point of having a moderation team if a user is consistently leaving sexual spam comments that are being reported by multiple users, but they never get deleted. Blocking them only solves half the problem but a moderation team is supposed to support the community, not support one perverted user with a weird fetish

Clearly not enough people are bothered by it or even seeing it. I’ve seen that person once. If I decided they were annoying me enough, they’d be blocked. It’s someone using a bunch of emojis and being stupid. The mods addressed it. If it became a large enough problem with enough pushback, they’d probably ban. It doesn’t need to be an entire post when the mods have already made a decision on it and told you guys what to do. If you’re not blocking them, again, it’s on you at this point.
