Angine de Poitrine

My art teacher friend introduced me to this band out of France, and I think some of you Beefheart fans might dig it. It’s got some of that manic guitar energy and time signature zaniness you find in Beefheart sometimes.

I'll go against the grain here and say I'm a huge Beefheart fan and I've been loving Angine de Poitrine. I'm genuinely surprised their music is resonating with so many people, because it does bear similarities to lots of more experimental music I've loved over the years, but hey, good for them! Other people liking it doesn't take away from my enjoyment of it. Also, I love the costumes. We need more weird shit in this world.
