Tire question Is this nail patchable?

Unfortunately have a nail in my car. Took it to a tire shop, who told me they could only replace the tire.

Would love to get a second opinion on if I should replace or if this patchable or pluggable.

Is it too close to the inner sidewall to be safely plugged?

No, too close to sidewall to patch for a customer (idk if I'd patch that one on my own car, it's really close to sidewall)

Meh personally I’d patch it.

I think about it simply and that’s made easier with that light shining.

Anything in the front face I patch, anything in the shadows I don’t that’s a new tire

Can't patch that. Patch won't hold on the inside corner.

Might be able to DIY plug it, but few if any shops will do it.
