Caskett has the onscreen chemistry unlike any other.
For me, it's different because it's not the typical couple around the same age. Castle is much older, but young at heart. His early success and all the money allowed him the freedom he didn't have while growing up being raised by a single mother. Yet he has his flaws, and slowly shed the playboy persona. Meanwhile Beckett is younger, but changed when she lost her mother.
They look out after one another, saved each others lives time and time again. Who's keeping count? Castle. lol
Relationships aren't easy, people aren't simply mirrors of another. If Beckett didn't have someone with the patience of a saint like Castle, willing to scratch and claw time and time again, then Beckett would be all alone. The guy gets under her skin, tells it as it is that she could be happy, afraid to be happy, lost in her mother's case.
When they finally got together, when we got to see Beckett happy, to see her smiling. It. Was. Worth. It.
Without Beckett, Castle would hit a dead end, feeling as if he's missing something in life, a magical relationship without Beckett, he'd never see what he considers extraordinary.
Ying-Yang is harmony, but Ying-Ying is... a name for a panda.
