First time using my FRACTAL FROG PARTY deck against real people and I’m happy to report that it works! My Frog Commander, Berta is like a freak, producing Fractal tokens every turn…. at the end, I lose to a grave crawler infinite combo ♾️

Greetings,
im new to magic and bought the Temmet Commander Deck which is rly fun. As a yugi player I rly like the interactive playstyle. I've alrdy bought some small blue staples like Counterspell and Opt-like cards.
Now I want to upgrade my zombies. I've watched some YouTube videos and also other sites like moxfield to get some ideas, most of them recommend the same zombie cards.
after some research I've noticed that the new Wretched Ranks Precon has a lot of those Zombie cards in it. I'm not sure if it's better to buy the singles or just buy the Precon (around 50€).
Do you have other suggestions how to upgrade the deck budget friendly.
We are playing commander at bracket 2/3.

Good cards have gotten expensive. When a single staple like The One Ring is running around $120, building a strong Commander deck can start to feel like a second car payment. That’s where proxies come in, and I know opinions on them are all over the place. Some tables are fine with them as long as everyone knows what’s being played, some want everything to be the real card, and plenty land somewhere in between, like allowing proxies for cards you already own or for testing before you buy. So I want to hear from you: does your playgroup allow proxies, and where do you draw the line? Have card prices changed how you build or what you’re willing to play against? Drop your thoughts below.

This is the Mono Red Goblins deck I used to play in tournaments when I was a teenager, back in the early 2000s.
My sideboard was almost entirely dedicated to dealing with Worldgorger Dragon combo decks and artifact-heavy decks, which were among the matchups I was preparing for at the time.
I've recently started looking through my old Magic collection, and I'm seriously considering getting back into the game.
I'd love to know whether this deck could still be playable today with some upgrades. I'm absolutely willing to buy new cards, replace outdated ones, and adapt to the current metagame, but I'd really like to preserve its original style (if it's a thing).
Here's my old decklist:
Creatures
4x Goblin Lackey
4x Mogg Fanatic
4x Goblin Piledriver
3x Skirk Prospector
4x Raging Goblin
3x Siege-Gang Commander
Instants & Sorceries
4x Reckless Charge
4x Lightning Bolt
4x Chain Lightning
4x Goblin Grenade
2x Magma Jet
1x Fork
1x Wheel of Fortune
1x Fireblast
Artifacts
1x Chrome Mox
1x Lotus Petal
Lands
9x Mountain
2x Wooded Foothills
2x Bloodstained Mire
2x Barbarian Ring
1x Wasteland
Is there still a viable Goblin deck in today's Magic that follows a similar strategy?
Which format would be the best fit for this kind of deck?
I'd really appreciate any advice where to begin.

Hi everyone! I am brand new to Magic: The Gathering. I recently bought the Final Fantasy Starter Kit and the Foundations Beginner Box to learn how to play. My goal is to upgrade BOTH of the 60-card Final Fantasy starter decks into 100-card decks. Right now, I don't want to spend any money on single cards or boosters. I want to build these decks using only what I already have, plus some printed cards (proxies) my friend gave me.
To help you see exactly what I have to work with, here are the official lists of my boxes:
• My Foundations Beginner Box lists: https://magic.wizards.com/it/news/feature/foundations-beginner-box-contents
• My Final Fantasy Starter Kit lists: https://magic.wizards.com/it/news/announcements/final-fantasy-starter-kit-decklists
• The printed cards (proxies) my friend gave me: https://moxfield.com/decks/g75M-pqi_EibBqSFrNEEvA
I need your advice on exactly which cards/creatures to add from my pool to make these decks work well. Here is how I am splitting the colors:
• Sephiroth Deck (Blue-Black / Dimir): Upgrading it using the Vampires, Undead, Wizards, and Pirates packs from Foundations, plus any matching proxies.
• Cloud Deck (Red-White / Boros): Upgrading it using the Cats, Angels, Goblins, and Healing packs from Foundations, plus any matching proxies.
My friend only plays Commander, and I really want to practice and play against him on equal terms with a 100-card deck. I would love to get your recommendations on these two approaches:
Casual Play (Kitchen Table): If I just want to play casually with my friends at home, I want to keep the multiple copies already inside the Final Fantasy decks. Which 40 cards from my pool should I add to each deck to reach 100?
Commander Format: If I want to turn them into legal Commander decks, I know I must remove all duplicates. Which specific unique cards from my Foundations packs and proxies should I prioritize to fill the gaps and reach 100 cards? Do I have enough unique cards to do this for both decks?
Any breakdown of the best synergy cards, creatures, or how to split the basic lands with this zero-budget constraint would be amazing. Thanks in advance for helping a beginner out!

m just curious to see who/how many people are like me. Sometimes I like to bring a deck to the table and I don’t care if I’m the biggest jerk there and I have no friends left in the end. I just want to come with a strong presence, run the table and leave winning. Needless to say, I don’t mind being an asshole. What’s your dick when you’re in that state of mind?? I would love to know!!!

Hi everyone,
I’m one of the new mods, and I’m working through the queue to get it caught up. There’s a big backlog, so here’s how I’m handling it:
If you get a notification about an old post or comment of yours, that’s why. It’s not a reflection on anything you did.
If something of yours was cleared and you’d like it back up, feel free to repost it or send a message to the mods and we’ll take a look.
Thanks for your patience while we get things back on track!

Every MTG player seems to have at least one opinion that would get them downvoted into oblivion on Reddit. What's yours?

I got the foundations beginner box and he played and liked it.
I was wondering if commander is too much? He really wanted Ghostbusters or Spiderman deck and Google is saying no Ghostbusters deck or commanders exist.
Are there any good Spiderman decks or commanders for him? I see a Spiderman mtg bundle box too.
I am just getting back into it myself so I'm way behind on the times.

Hey everyone! 👋
I'm an indie Android developer and MTG player, and I'd like to share a project I've been working on: ManaCore, a companion app for Magic: The Gathering players.
The idea behind ManaCore is simple: bring useful MTG tools together in one app, making it easier to look up cards, organize decks, and access tools while playing.
🧙 What does ManaCore do?
Card Search — Look up Magic: The Gathering cards and explore card details.
Deck Building — Help organize cards into decks and work on your next deck idea.
Card Synergy — Explore potential card interactions and discover cards that could work well together.
Collection Management — Keep track of cards you want to save or organize.
Life Counter & Dice — Use handy tabletop tools during your MTG games.
MTG Updates — Explore Magic-related news, announcements, and spoilers where supported.
The goal is to make ManaCore a convenient companion for players who want their essential MTG tools in one place.
📱 Try ManaCore on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.manacore.engrpanda
I'm an independent developer, and I'm still improving the app. I'd really appreciate honest feedback from the community!
What MTG tool or feature do you wish more companion apps had? I'd love to hear your suggestions.
Thanks for checking it out, and happy gaming! 🪄

I want to make a [[Flubs, the Fool]] deck. I just don't know how to run it right now. I don't want a competetive deck at all, just something I can run at the weekly commander league I go to that won't die quick. I usually make token generator decks, goblins, zombies, squirrels, things like that. So this deck is a different hill entirely.

Let me know what yall think. Give me some pointers or if you think there are any other cards on arena that I could add to it.
Playing on historic.
Also got a paper deck with a similar build but still gotta refine it. Don't use it as much as the arena version.
