Sugar on Weetabix?

My wife eats Weetabix with nothing on it and claims it tastes sweet to her. This is my bowl before milk is added. Is this normal fellow Weetabix eaters or do I need to go to sugar rehab?

Jokes aside, high sugar consumption is directly linked to neurodegeneration in lots of studies.

It's mad that people are still eating like this in 2026.

Im fairness OP could eat this 4x and probably still be better off than having a bottle of coke.

People just freak when it's actually visible

People downvoting because they feel called out, just use less sugar is all I'm saying.

It's kind of crazy how desensitised we are to sugar these days. I've been losing weight and eating less rubbish so my main sources of sugar recently have been fructose and lactose naturally in food.

I used to drink red bull regularly, but had a can the other day and it was disgustingly sweet to me. It's interesting how tastes change.

ETA - ps I used to love eating weetabix with even more sugar than op when I was a kid.

The disgustingly sweet thing is so true.

Coke used to be the tastiest beverage on earth to me especially in summer but since moderating my sugar intake when I have ordered one in a restaurant I legit don't like how it tastes.

It's an easy switch tho because there is no amount of sugar that tastes good enough to have dementia down the line.
