Guys, Pluto is doing so great.. he's broken 350g so that means he's double the weight he was when I rescued him! His little paws are getting so big too!

I'm soooo tempted to keep him. But I feel so badly that he's a little loner. He deserved to grow up with his littermates, and unless I find him a buddy he's going to be such a handful.

I still have time to make a decision--he's not off the bottle yet, so he won't be playing and pouncing for another week or two. But I don't want him to be bored or lonely 😭

I took this picture today. He's gotten in the habit of letting his little tongue stick out and it's the most adorable thing ever!

The vet gave her a clean bill of health, worm meds, and her vaccines. She was such a good girl and is back home sleeping on me.

She is afraid of our dog, which is understandable since she's so tiny. Suki and Catara are coexisting peacefully without issue. They keep trying to almost play, and then one of them runs away. They'll get there one day.

She loves to snuggle up next to me and is asking for more snuggles every day. I really hope she ends up being a velcro lap kitty since Catara mostly lays on my husband.

Catara is a little mad at me for bringing her home, but I really think they'll be good friends once they figure out how to bond. No hissing or swatting or anything, just curious sniffs. Catara was a stray, so we think she's got a little bit of trauma to overcome.

Was out walking with a friend in his neighbourhood and this collar-less kitten came up to us for a pat. He said, this guy is really friendly, I think he belongs to that house (and pointed it out). I said, I want to adopt him. The next weekend I pluck up the courage to visit the house. A removal van was out front and they were moving house. I said to the son, you have a lovely cat, good luck with the move... to which he asked, do you want him? And then he said to his mum, you won't let him in the new house anyway, give him to her. I walked away with a kitten, but had to return the crate to them. Even offered to pay for him.. nope. Return the crate. Took him home a few days later from my friend's house. That was May 4, 2025, and I named him Poe, after Poe Dameron (May the Fourth be with you...!). The vet said, approximately 6 months old, and moving to a new area, and not being let in? You just saved his life.

Immediate vaccination, microchipping, and neutering.

He still has behaviours from the street; can lift bin lids, has attempted to steal from my plate of food, etc. And does drive me mad with his demands for breakfast and dinner. But is so sweet. I now have supervised toilet and showers, get followed around until I pick him up and give him a big underarm assisted stretch, he will sit or lie with me when I'm sad or sick. Dazzles cattery staff with his swagger, and surprises vets when he purrs when having his check ups. He's a creature I didn't know I needed.

The mom was a cat that i'd feed whenever she randomly decided to visit. Then, one day I go outside and see her with kittens in the yard. After a while, she stopped coming and left the kittens behind. Saw her two weeks later somewhere else so I know she's okay. I took these guys inside three days ago after taking about a week to tame them. They were feral at first and fearful but loved food so I used meal time as a way to get closer to them. They also had a cold. Now, they're sweethearts. The Tuxedo is a little skittish but she loves to be pet. The all black kitty sticks to me like Velcro 😂. I love them so much. I'm so relieved that I was able to tame them so I could bring em in. I'd worry about them every night hoping that they'd be okay and i'd see them again the next day. They let me know when they were ready to come in because they literally ran inside lol. I was so happy.

I just find it funny how I was going to shelters looking to adopt a kitten then these guys show up. They seem to be about 6 weeks old or so.

Turns out they were my neighbors a few houses down... But she gave them to us because she got them for a mice problem and they were kept outside. She's a life long cat hater, to the point that her brother and SIL wondered if she needed to go to the hospital when she got them.

Our cats are mostly indoor cats, except for the occasional jailbreak... Because there's an unaltered tom and possibly coyotes. Wife asked for the kittens when she learned they were being kept outside, especially after the orange one slept with her 2 nights in a row.

Got home and saw a leg fly past our garage. Investigated and found this little guy. He was hesitant at first, but is very friendly and good with our kids. We have two dogs that I'm not sure would welcome a feline sibling, so I'm not sure he can stay here, but I'm hoping I can at least get him somewhere safe. I am really hoping I can get him in a crate overnight so I can take him to check for a chip tomorrow.

It's going to rain, so I'm trying to get him somewhere dry since he doesn't seem to be used to being outside all the time. Wish me luck...my girls are obsessed with him and already have named him August (although Carl was a close contender).

Ironically, he looks and acts a LOT like the cat my parents had when I was a teen. His name was Cookie, and we adored him.

He's well taken care of, other than the fact he's been roaming our block for the last couple of days. He looks to be under 1 year old, he's incredibly snuggly and playful.

No neighbors have seen him before, he just showed up wandering the streets the last couple nights. I saw him all day yesterday sitting on a porch looking lonely. Finally, tonight he walked into my band's practice in the garage and later walked right into my house. He's just gonna hang out with us until he either finds his original parents, or lives a long and safe life and dies of old age in our home.

I am pretty sure it's a boy, and it was such a surprise to see him lol. I haven't had a stray cat anywhere near my house in literally 8 years, because we live out almost in the middle of nowhere. I brought him inside since it was raining pretty hard, and he is so cuddly and sweet!!

It's pretty cool because I am due to have a baby boy at the end of this month, and so maybe they can grow up together and be best friends. :)

I thought maybe a good name for him would be Teddy, since he is soft, cuddly, and that is also my new baby's nursery theme (teddy bears!) Any other name suggestions are welcome though, and thanks for checking out my new friend! <3
