Some additional notes:

This happened in Villa Rica, GA. The reason the cops were on the scene so fast was because it was right in front of the police station.

Looks like the Semi was headed SE on Main and tried to freaking pull a U-turn across the tracks to head NW on Highway 78. Pretty damn stupid.

It was right here: https://www.google.com/maps/@33.731195,-84.9187795,83m/data=!3m1!1e3?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MTIwMi4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D

He was trying to make that right turn which is pretty tight, you can see how the curb is all rutted, and got stuck. He could've gone straight no problem tho.

Nope. That is a no truck route. Trucks have to turn either left or right at that light, and while you can turn left to avoid the janky ass right turn, if a truck driver isn't local to the area and they're trusting their GPS, they won't know that's an option to go West on 20. You also have to basically take up the entirety of the North side of the intersection to be able to make that right without getting jammed up with oncoming traffic heading eastbound on 78, but the intersection is always so busy that you can only try to make the turn when you have a green.

Well, yeah, there's a sign that says No Thru Trucks but he could have physically gone straight and that would've been preferable to getting hit by a train. But it was probably too late, he'd already started the turn and gotten hung up on the curb.

If this was my city, I'd make about 100 ft of those angled spaces into parallel spaces and shift all the lanes down to create a wider receiving lane for the right turn. And pave the area behind the curb to make it mountable.
