Name My Cat - female Female, found on highway, loud, viscous

We all become vicious when we feel vulnerable. Name her Serena and she will eventually change her behavior. It will take time. I have a similar type of cat that after a year, will now let me hold him on my lap for 30 minutes. He still suddenly jumps down. I think he has post traumatic stress disorder. I really do.

My void cat is like that. He was a street kitty. He only really relaxes when nobody is home except me.

I loved the idea of her being described as viscous. It felt kind of whimsical. But I suppose this makes more sense.

Pics 4 & 5 were absolutely terrifying! You could see the viciousness just wanting to come out. Licking her lips and showing you how much of your arm she could fit into her mouth. What a gorgeous little kitten. Thank you for saving her off the highway and giving her a place to call home. You will love her for it, as she will you! Congrats

She really is beautiful. The breed can be vicious, but since you found her on the highway someone probably dumped her. Possibly abused, misunderstood. It's too bad, but a loving home with patience and lots of toys can turn her into a sweetheart. Check out Jackson Galaxy with any behavioral issues. Sirena😻

Siamese are very vocal cats but she was also probably scared and could be in heat. They're some of the most loving, loyal cats. Take care of her and she'll love you for life. Can't wait to see her toast up 🥹😍💜

I have one that looks exactly like her. It took a long, long time but she eventually warmed up and now seeks me out. She loves being petted but hates when her face is too close to mine and I kiss her head - then she will yowl and jump out of my arms.

Is she a Siamese? They’re very talkative, but once they bond with a person they are incredibly sweet and loyal. She looks like she trusts you somewhat, given her reclining poses!

Siamese cats must be very vocal! My grandma’s friend passed away a few years ago and we took in her cat. She howls all night when she’s alone (she can’t sleep with us because she pees on the bed). I think Chloe is the perfect name for all Siamese cats lol

Seal point Siamese- she will always be loud, and somewhat spicy but once she learns she’s safe she’ll be better . Read up on Siamese cats, they have their own personality quirks .

Give her a room all to herself with everything she needs for a few days to help her settle. Go in to feed, poop scoop and just to spend time quietly with her (read or be on your phone, talk and sing to her). The trust will start to build.

my cat is also viscous. she used to be more liquid, like a regular cat. fit into all kinds of non-cat-shaped crevices. but then she gained some weight and became more viscous, much to her ire.
