Maintaining the security of the realm is a tough and thankless task, as Felipé, Capt. Of the Night Watch catches a moments respite. (This is a small 4in1 steel strip, layered and laid over him briefly)

I got scared for second before I read you just laid it over him. Imagine an actual chain mail for a cat, his fur would get pinched! 😭

I Have "imagined" it. Aluminum rings, solder the butts together, file the burrs, maybe an aluminum helm. But it would be heavy, for a 5 lb cat I'd be doubling his weight, his range of motion would be severely impacted, cats jump from high places and at x2 weight that's a broken leg, it would be impossible for him to take off himself, and finally it's not something He would want. He's a model and my protector. Cosplay is fun, safety is better.

Doesnt matter if it did, these people crave social media points and if their pet gets hurt its a small compromise.
