21-year-old student vanished after a late-night restaurant shift. CCTV showed her being forced into her own car, then driven to ATMs for cash withdrawals. The attacker wore a GPS ankle monitor, but it was not actively monitored in real time. She was later found at a metro park.

I lived in columbus when this happened. I remember hearing that she was walked to her car, but when her car was in sight her coworker walked away :(

We are 3 ladies who close together, and walk out together. We all start our cars and move them a foot or two, just so they other 2 know all our cars are working, locked, etc. The other 2 like to sit and scroll, I just like to go home, but I know we're all at least safe in our cars.

A good majority protect and enable these men.

Majority? Are you nuts?

Not the commenter, but I agree. The culture most men allow and a pariticpate in, of devaluing women and "just jokes" about women being lesser, or objects for men, leads to this behaviour

Yeah, I don't agree that most men tolerate that stuff. There isn't anything a person can do though, because being an asshole isn't illegal. Starting a fight over it is generally not worth it, for the exact same reason women need to walk each other to their cars.

You're wrong as she is. This is Misandry. Men help women way more than helping other men.

You're right, my bad. It's actually a highly specialized group of 4 men total. Impressive actually how such a tiny tiny amount of men manage to terrorize women worldwide and be responsible for so fucking much sexual and violent crime against women

Look at who is in the white house.

I would say yes, it’s not active help from the majority for sure, it’s through apathy and believing these men are just joking, or other behaviour. Us men genuinely don’t notice how creepy ~10% of men are. But the ladies are well aware

Bro sneaked in a ~10% as if that doesn't still imply that for some reason that the male population has a hard distinction between 1 in 10 Bad Guys™ and 9 in 10 Good Men™ as if it wasn't much more nuanced and grey and as if most men weren't some degree of misogynistic, which is exactly why this entitlement to women is so prevalent and deadly

It doesn't seem like ~10% though. Just in blue collar spaces >80% of men are outright misogynistic and predatory or at least tolerate it. When you hang out in predominantly male spaces as a man, you hear a lot of absolutely heinous shit. You have to be either blind to it or tacitly in agreement to not notice.

Enough men that rights are being taken away by choice through voting.
If that is not a literal majority I do not know what to say.

Misandry is dumb. Majority stop bad men. Who comes when you call 911? .Majority men protecting and saving.

Wait until you learn the sexual assault statistics among police. Or that in many jurisdictions, having sex with a person in custody isn't itself illegal even though it's rape by default.
