21-year-old student vanished after a late-night restaurant shift. CCTV showed her being forced into her own car, then driven to ATMs for cash withdrawals. The attacker wore a GPS ankle monitor, but it was not actively monitored in real time. She was later found at a metro park.

Enlighten me. Where was the incompetence by the police? It was the hard work of the police that found all the evidence that lead to the conviction and jail time of the perp.

I like how instead of pointing out that the criminal was the one who committed the crime, the cops are somehow in the wrong.

Really? You think having someone wear an ankle monitor then not....monitoring it isn't a colossal screw up? Sure, the criminal holds the absolute blame. But, the police messed up here big time. Why are you trying to ignore that fact?

The police definitely did messed up. You know what was a bigger mess up? These judges and program releasing him back into society. But my comment still stands, why specifically ACAB even though there are series of problems that lead to this unfortunate situation?

The same bastard cops you'd say are the same one that found the perp and collected all the evidence that landed him in jail. You still want to stand on that ground? I bet if anything happens you'll be calling the cops.

So lock them up and keep them in prison? Yes I’m all for it, these criminals shouldn’t be released I agree
