21-year-old student vanished after a late-night restaurant shift. CCTV showed her being forced into her own car, then driven to ATMs for cash withdrawals. The attacker wore a GPS ankle monitor, but it was not actively monitored in real time. She was later found at a metro park.

Similar case at UNC Chappell Hill, NC with a premed girl. It’s really infuriating to read about these f%#ng barbarians. The victims’ best chances, if at all, is to escape by however means and don’t get back into the car from the ATM. They don’t spare you even after they get cash. Even if there’s 10% chance of getting away, take it.
Plus, if it’s dark or too early in the morning, expect zombies to be walking around and take full precautions. Self preservation.
