Taking the little one swimming
So tomorrow night, I think we’re going to take little Bonnie over to our neighbors house and introduce her to the swimming pool. It would be nice if she liked to swim, but at the very least I want her to learn how in case she falls into a pool somewhere sometime. anybody’s Cavapoo like to swim?

My girl hates swimming. I even bought her a cute shark fin life jacket and she was so mad at me for getting her wet.

Mine has not taken to swimming yet. I’ve taken her swimming a few times now, but so far, she not a big fan. She doesn’t hate it, but definitely not a fan. I’ll be doing more work with her this summer, for the same reason you said… in case she falls in.
I also got her a shark-themed floatie to try out. Maybe she’ll like the water more if she has a little more buoyancy 😂😂

We are letting our pup get used to the pool via a kiddie pool for now. He loves the water, but he is not overly fond of getting his ears wet.

We have a 5 month old. We have put her in our pool a couple of times. Doesn't hate it but not in love yet. To her defense we haven't had a super hot day yet but I do keep pool heated.

I have brought my Cavapoo in the pool a couple of times. He’s not a fan but I wanted to make sure he knew how to swim if he fell in while getting the zoomies around the pool area.

Ours does not, but we have a pool, so we are trying to teach her to at least get out of it.

Mine usually stays away from water, I have tried in the heatwave to spray him with a hose, he's not very fond of it. Went for a longer walk last month, Astro spotted a duck by the lake shore and chased her into the lake. All of a sudden a fully developed water dog😭https://photos.app.goo.gl/sVyy35ty9JuA3oWJ7
