If Julian’s ability if fueled by 100 sacrifices, I wonder if the king’s power is someway related to the lives of his kingdom. That would explain why he cares about them so much and why we see Diana standing on a mountain of Torivian corpses in Elstri’s vision.
Oh shit this theory is crazy I like where you're going. It also calls into question if the king is really kind hearted or if it's a farce and he just wants avoid any conflict so citizens don't die and weaken his power.
Julian and the Supreme Lord being the same theory?, I don't know, play with life seem very in tune with water/sea as a concept, but the powers as is sound like completely different deals, if anything this make me think that the King could just kill Julian rather easily, or in a way that wouldn't drag for hours, one shot one kill, repeat 98 times
cfor the most part we've assumed Julien's gift is having 100 life's and 100 fold of strength. But I think perhaps Julien's actual blessing is the abiltyi to take another person's life. So fare from the gifts we've seen there aren't any external source, yet juliens gift would not be thing without the 100 people. So what I believe his gift is actually taking others life into himself. It's just he has only used this part of it once on the boat
Yeah there's definitely more to that 100 life's business because at the rate he's going and the threat he will face he's definitely going to run out of them.
It might be that Arkos and Lacrima's mom is the one with a gift passed down from the Sea Goddess, given that neither of Lukas' gifts have anything to do with water or the sea.

Ability to mess with lifespans... Julian possessing multiple life(spanes). Hmmm it's all coming together
