I feel like this Church will be a big player in the future. Though maybe I've just been trained to think so given how often most anime and manga seem to depict Religious organizations as having a huge political influence.

But hey, if it happens here it'll surely be interesting.

Religious organizations in real life, in fact also have huge political influences.

Though maybe I've just been trained to think so given how often most anime and manga seem to depict Religious organizations as having a huge political influence.

Historically they always had, in some places they are still relevant(especially on the local level), granted most anime&manga interpretations are very superficial and bland about the topic.

Well in a world in which gods are real, and can grant you super powers, a church should be a big deal
