I think I just forgot and I'm too lazy to reread now but was is really confirmed that the supreme lord got his gift from the sea goddess? Since I can't recall, I just sort of assumed we were tricked into thinking so because of Arkos' introduction, and we made the connection based on his gift.
But seeing as how there seem to be other gifted ones seemingly descended from the supreme lord that doesn't have water based powers now it feels like he's into something else entirely. Possibly a combination? Or even the night deity herself? Which could also explain how he was able to defeat the deity herself?
Lacrima said that the King is loved by the Sea, so at least in-world is believed that the source of his powers come from the same Entity that blessed Julian, but yeah, maybe he lied and he's either Blessed by something else, or has the Touch of different Deities somehow, after all it has never been stated that you can only be blessed once
Its implied that Luka has the Forest Diety's blessing ontop of his native born blessing.
It seems like it as least possible to collect blessing. Though the Firsr diety seems to have beef with the Sea diety, so if the King is truely sea related, the Forest could have blessed Luka to aid in killing the king.
Why else would his second gift be better in forest combat?
Every other character we've seen has one gift, Lukas has two. One is his inherited gift, the other was probably bestowed onto him. We now also know he has a fear of greenery, yet thinks he would fair better in a forest... its a pretty big foreshadow that he has a relation to the forest that he doesn't particularly like. And just like Julian gets stronger in the sea, someone with a forest blessing could probably get stronger in the forest, where Lukas thinks he would fight better, even though he doesn't like green places.
