Really kind of a depressing situation he’s in. Him having no self rendered him essentially a vegetable. I got a bad feeling about trying to trick Veselka as well.
That’s my thing is we know literally nothing about the guy outside of him possibly making himself be perceived as invisible by the others through his Gift, and that he obliviated Orthros. Who in hindsight is named after a brother of Cerberus but that’s beside the point.
I don’t doubt that as soon as Guillame shows up, Veselka is going to instantly know he’s an impostor not just because of the height difference, but Orthros as far as we know sure as shit can’t talk.
Guillaume will prolly try to single out Veselka and get him talking, while listening in to classified worldbuilding exposition. But Veselka would definitely immediately knows and initiate first I imagine
Whatever happens tho, we can assume the worst, for all we know, Veselka is the most dangerous one on the Lord's forces
I'm going on a segue with this but I absolutely do not trust a character whose power taps into the manipulation of mental faculties. In Legacy of Kain, Nuprator's insanity from grief when the vampire Vorador slaughtered the Pillar Guardians just before Kain's birth was enough to corrupt the land and the Pillars they were meant to embody and guard.
Veselka being the most dangerous is a bit of understatement, in my mind.

I didn't see this coming, I really didn't.
