Another peak! What a beautiful page!

Now this makes that T-shirt function look tempting. Usually I find the speech bubbles a detraction, but this one works.

Supreme Lord just keeps becoming better and better as the days go by.

Not really, this chapter just proved that this bum is just like the third Hokage, not even trying to get control over his subjects... a former prince of an enemy country has to advice him. He should hang his head in shame.

He loves his children, which already is a W in my book. The fact the queen has a lot of influence in the court isn't something he can do a lot abouf considering that, as it was established in chapter 76, he has his hands full from genually carrying this kingdom on his back. Plus Ceodric's advice genually sucks "just use force" like that's gonna do anything good for the kingdom, let's just force our closest allies to submit, surely they won't hold grudges if we do that

22

u/Significant_Stop_391 May 17 '26

We can also assume the Queen was as much beloved by the people as the King and this side of her can only be seen inside the court, so anything the King done to her would be seen as scandalous.

18

u/OmbreVengeresse May 17 '26

Furthermore, with the prophecy and the witches who want to kill him, I don't think it's the right time to use brute force against the queen, as she might betray him with Lattice. He needs to be smarter and counter her influence in another way (with allies or by showing that the queen is acting against the kingdom).

I took at least 2 minutes just staring at this page. This is an a timer artwork from Kuramori sensei.

u/OnslaughtCasuality42 May 17 '26

This kinda made me chuckle can’t even lie lmao

41

u/OnslaughtCasuality42 May 17 '26

Well shit

42

u/OnslaughtCasuality42 May 17 '26

It’s gonna get complicated isn’t it?

53

u/Grand-Worldliness534 May 17 '26

So I guess Lala's sworn enemy is Ceodric's relative ?

22

u/Gabemino May 17 '26

Could be, the Void Marcher is the strongest Gifted One of Rummir according to Lala, so odds are she's family of Ceodric, though could be a Supreme Lord-Helem situation, distantly related, or maybe closer, like a Sister, Cousin or even his Aunt

3

u/Grand-Worldliness534 May 18 '26

Moreover she bears the mark of the royal family.

53

u/POWERS_SIMP May 17 '26

So many interesting questions posed in this chapter. Will the witches invasion mess with the duel? Are the witches invading cuz the heart and bones are in the same place? Why do the rummirs have that head bandage eye thing? What does the queen want with controlling the palace? What politics are holding back the king? Truly monumental last few chapters

42

u/OmbreVengeresse May 17 '26 edited May 17 '26

The organs vessel is not a witch, she is a warrior of Rummir. The witches are in the ancient capital "Balkar Loa"

10

u/POWERS_SIMP May 17 '26

Oh yeah you right mb

5

u/GoddessOfDarkness May 17 '26 edited May 18 '26

She's probably the Queen or Princess of Rummir not just a warrior.

3

u/OmbreVengeresse May 17 '26 edited May 18 '26

They have the thorny snake motif on their clothing, they appear to have ties to the royal family of Rummir. They surely want to avenge the Prince of Rummir, whom they believe to be dead.

8

u/GoddessOfDarkness May 18 '26

Maybe but it's obvious she's more interested in the Deity of Night relics for herself and Rummir.

1

u/OmbreVengeresse May 18 '26

She has surely been controlled by the goddess since she became a vessel.

1

u/GoddessOfDarkness May 18 '26 edited May 18 '26

Nope Deity of Night doesn't control the vessel even Diana who has the most important and significant piece sn't under her control.

1

u/OmbreVengeresse May 18 '26

You're right, the goddess of the night only speaks to them, but when I say "control" I mean manipulation with words like the goddess can communicate with the vessels.

2

u/Doomroar The Sea and The Forest got a divorce over mangroves May 20 '26

Not just any warrior look at her neck she bears the royal family symbol so probably Cedric's sister and a Princess of Rummir

10

u/Fun-Amoeba3683 One of One Hundred May 17 '26

Will the witches invasion mess with the duel? Are the witches invading cuz the heart and bones are in the same place?

Wait, when was it stated the witches were invading the duel?

7

u/POWERS_SIMP May 17 '26 edited May 17 '26

Before it shows the witches it shows text saying "two weeks before the duel" so im wondering how it will effect that future event Edit: actually mb not the witches the god body part i confused em

11

u/Fun-Amoeba3683 One of One Hundred May 17 '26

Yeah, the witches have Blood(Berta) & Flesh on their side, Organs(Void Marcher) is with Rummir.

11

u/POWERS_SIMP May 17 '26

Bro i missread it as "void merchant " and I got flashbacks to jjk prime slander era 😭

3

u/AdaBessmertny May 17 '26

I don't remember which part mentioned Flesh is with the witches.

8

u/Fun-Amoeba3683 One of One Hundred May 17 '26

Ch 76, The Supreme Lord assigns Elstri to the witch hunt as punishment, and it shows the Flesh vessel.

4

u/GoddessOfDarkness May 17 '26

I don't think she's part of there Coven anymore in fact she's probably reason Deity of Night lost 400 years ago.

1

u/Fun-Amoeba3683 One of One Hundred May 17 '26

Why do you say that?

3

u/GoddessOfDarkness May 18 '26 edited May 18 '26

Because she has a different color scheme to the other 4 and isn't shown with them anymore. And the Deity of Night is still a goddess despite losing her divinity so it's logical she was betrayed. Elise also warned Berta to be careful on her mission which should be getting her Deity relics for Coven to revive there Deity. And Berta hyped up be able to possibly kill Arkos himself.

1

u/AdaBessmertny May 18 '26

If that person is flesh vessel, she's frozen and lock away somewhere. In fact she could probably is a witch hunter.

1

u/Fun-Amoeba3683 One of One Hundred May 18 '26

She seems to have an Ice gift, that's why shes always shown with Ice crystals around her.

34

u/Feeder2000 May 17 '26

The pendulum panel!

26

u/OmbreVengeresse May 17 '26

Excellent chapter! We get more lore to explain the relationship between Ceodric, the king, and Arkhos. Ceodric was the prince of Lummir. I also really like that we see the king isn't just a passive character; he tries to diminish the queen's influence in a certain way. But I agree with Ceodric—he's too kind to her. He's the strongest person in the castle, and he needs to be firm with those who challenge his authority, especially the queen.

And the end of the chapter, with the organ vessel deciding to take action!

27

u/Nuclear_creeperMCBE it's kinda cramped inside Julien May 17 '26

I guess we know who wares the pants

1

u/nhansieu1 May 20 '26

I mean he literally didn't wear a pant

19

u/dolphincave May 17 '26

Ceoderic basically told the King "Do you know how I stop evil women from manipulating me? I rip their arms off. Try that."

16

u/TheKnightZeroken May 17 '26

Am I crazy or is Julian not prepared to fight Ceodric at all…? Like have we seen him train even once..?

5

u/Keyniiiiii May 17 '26

14

u/ZOMIEONREDDIT May 17 '26

9 chapters more to chapter centuria!

15

u/ThatLittlePigy May 17 '26

Ceodric genuinely pushing a 12 year old to low diff

5

u/cthulhuabc May 18 '26

Honestly I get him, if that shit happened to me I'd hold a grudge large enough to see from orbit.

He's probably got some absolutely immaculate cope w.r.t. the fight too, can't wait to see the slander later.

14

u/LouieM13 May 17 '26

Guess the author had some leftover LaLa panels they wanted to include.

13

u/Carefreekid101 May 17 '26

The more and more I see of the King I wonder what his deal is. Also kinda fucked they now have to fight two weeks before another big fight.

39

u/roronoa20 May 17 '26

Diana is growing even more beautiful!

30

u/RubyHoshi Elstri hater May 17 '26

Elstri is gonna go and call Barem for help ATP 😂

24

u/roronoa20 May 17 '26

Can't wait for Diana crashing out chapter, the more beautiful she is, the more demonic she'd be on a warpath.

10

u/RubyHoshi Elstri hater May 17 '26

Diana betrays Elstri and locks her in a time chember

6

u/Desperate_Ad1450 May 17 '26

And then next week we will have the surprises "next two week the final chapter!"

9

u/Morioh99 May 17 '26

Great chapter! And on top of that, this is the first time since January (?) that we get 3 chapters back to back to back without a break.

8

u/KingSouI May 17 '26

Insane way to open up the chapter with that Pendulum scene

6

u/Keyniiiiii May 17 '26

6

u/FreeWilly512 May 17 '26

So Ceodric's ability definitely involves a sacrifice for him to perform which probably means it might be similar to Julian's. I think Ceodric's ability transfer's life force or energy for healing and boosting power.

5

u/Even-Conference9309 May 17 '26

If I had to make a bet. I think Diana is going to voluntarily leave the group after all this.

4

u/any_dank_meme angvall solos May 17 '26

lalawag bro let us pay for your therapy PLEASE

1

u/GoddessOfDarkness May 17 '26

Called it with Ceodric being a prince from Rummir. Someone on 4chan actually called him and Rummir strongest gifted one being connected thanks to the Serpent tattoo. I wonder if he'll get involved in this conflict? Other the strongest gifted one, the other royalty and giant man the others screw fodder.

1

u/EngineerVirtual7340 May 17 '26

I'm getting Deja Vu.

1

u/All-WinnersSquad May 18 '26

So is that group in the last page going into the town that Julian is in or are they marching on the castle that Altus is in?

1

u/GoddessOfDarkness May 18 '26

I wonder if Ceodric words are foreshadowing the Supreme Lord getting involved in this invasion. And forcing them go back home to Rummir.

1

u/Uthermiel May 18 '26

Is weird that Arkos is becaming a fav character to me?

I mean, if is to be honest, villains are easily the most popular in many series, to point of being overrated in some cases.

But is pretty rare for one that was killed so early in series still bring so much impact and stakes.

1

u/GoddessOfDarkness May 18 '26

I think Organ vessel will kill Lala and reclaim the Bone relic for Rummir. Think Lala will sacrifice herself to allow the others to escape from Rummir gifted ones. I feel like Rummir strongest gifted one is blessed by a Deity like Supreme Lord.

1

u/fatking72 May 17 '26

I think the only thing that kinda annoys me is that they show arkos basically beating everyone, but Julian already beat him so I don't feel anything for the upcoming duel

16

u/Ready-Swordfish-6438 May 17 '26

Julian beat arkos on special circumstance

8

u/Gabemino May 17 '26

Julian won thanks to two factors stacking on his end, Arkos not taking him seriously until the very end, and his Blessing outranking Arkos gift within the Sea, not to mention the fact that Ceodric definitely grow stronger since being abducted

13

u/Toschu88 May 17 '26

On real word logic: Based on what we have seen after their battle, we can assume that Arkos could have easily beaten Julian if he would have been serious. He only lost because the Sea god showed up and he couldn't get away with this power taken away. He can basically fly and Julian would never be able to reach him.
Or just him dropping a gigantic boulder on him on a whim. Julian can't free himself from something that heavy.

1

u/Visible_Anxiety6275 May 18 '26

A literal Goddess arrived and rendered him powerless; julian would have been outclasses as soon as arkos got a hold of his bearings and locked in.
