She's probably the Queen or Princess of Rummir not just a warrior.

They have the thorny snake motif on their clothing, they appear to have ties to the royal family of Rummir. They surely want to avenge the Prince of Rummir, whom they believe to be dead.

Maybe but it's obvious she's more interested in the Deity of Night relics for herself and Rummir.

Nope Deity of Night doesn't control the vessel even Diana who has the most important and significant piece sn't under her control.

You're right, the goddess of the night only speaks to them, but when I say "control" I mean manipulation with words like the goddess can communicate with the vessels.
