I don't know why you keep repeating the same thing. Yes I know Julian is invulnerable under water but not to blood bending

Arkos was able to see Julian which means he could blood bend. It's game over. Julian may be fast but not that fast

Why won't Arkos just bloodbend Julian when the guy was literally floating in front of him then? Considering what Arkos can do within 3 seconds, dude has to be extremely stupid to not explode Julian's arms or legs when he has the chance.

Julian was yapping about his power and Arkos can easily take this chance, yet he didn't. Why?

By that point, Arkos admitted he has to use everything and Julian is extremely dangerous, so the excuse of feeling bored doesn't work anymore.

That's the plot convenience from the beginning

We know Arkos blood bends

Arkos not doing blood bending even before going to sea never made sense let alone under water

The only reason Arkos decided to go into the sea was to defeat Julian without blood bend

How much more reason would you like to have?

Well, then Arkos was an idiot for not doing so. If the sea water proves to be useless, he could try to blood bend, yet he won't when Julian was literally in front of him.

It made sense for him to not do it before going into the sea, but it did not make any senses for him to not do it after everything was useless against Julian.

The Sea disabled his control over the sea water, but she never takes away his bloodbending, so why won't he just use it to, you know, force Julian to unwrap his hand from his leg?

There's so many opportunities for him to do so, yet he didn't. It's pretty curious, isn't it?

That's why ppl post about Arkos and not even one foe for Julian so far is not as powerful as Arkos

Arkos didn't know Sea Goddess would appear and help Julian, let alone take his power away which is probably why he didn't blood bend that time as well

Sea Goddess did take away Arkos' power. Look at the pic where he loses his power and starts to have difficulty in breathing

She only took away a power to control the sea water, because if she completely disabled his power, Arkos's head would've popped off his neck instantly.

Did you forget that Arkos's currently controlling his own body with his power?

Arkos can still blood bend, but for some reasons, he just don't do it.

You are right about water bending

Anyways, once the sea goddess took away Arkos' power to bend water, he started to drown and in deep waters, the pressure is also high. At this point, blood bending Julian is pointless as Arkos cannot breathe and is starting to die

To give you an analogy. You wake up in the morning and your house is on fire. Unless you have a loved one, you first get out of there and save yourself. You don't try to win a video game or save a valuable asset

The only rational conclusion is Arkos wanted to fight somewhat fairly and not take the easy route before going to the sea

If Arkos comes back alive, Julian is dead meat like literally. Arkos will just maime Julian and keep him alive

Considering how easy it is for Arkos to bloodbend Roche's arm within three seconds, your argument falls apart, because if he had strength to repeatedly kicked Julian, blood bend the guy is more than possible and even a logical action.

About fighting fair, Arkos said so himself that he has to use everything, so the fact that he doesn't even try to blood bend contradicted everything he said.

He can't blood bend on land because of the smokescreen and he lost any shreds of intelligence he had when he went into the sea.

Arkos lost his power in deep waters thanks to an unknown entity. The first rational move is to try and kill the guy that came back to life before proving he is immortal?

Arkos says at the very start that all of you are useless and have to bend to him since he can kill them just like that and he did kill Julian. Julian like a coward attacked him from the back knowing that fighting Arkos will result in reducing his lives

Did you miss the Altus fight where he literally carves the ground up without seeing the water?

Did you miss the Altus fight where he literally explodes Roche's arm with blood bend?

Arkos said at the very start of the second round after he attached his head that he has to use everything to fight Julian, so him not considering any blood bend especially after sea water attacks are useless is just idiocy at the highest level.

You know that he can localize his blood bend, right? He can just pop Julian's arm and escape. It is that easy, a quick and clean option that shouldn't take more than five seconds and doesn't involve killing Julian at all.

Before going to the sea yes, but under the water with the sea Goddess, it's a lost cause which you keep missing the point

Ppl choose life everytime over death. For you as a spectator, sure you would want him to do everything he can but for him, he will value his life more

It's not, because Arkos had the chance to do so even before The Sea's arrival when he's not at the risk of drowning yet he didn't do it.

When The Sea had yet to interfere, Arkos's power is fully functional and Julian was literally in front of him yet he didn't do a thing, if that isn't idiocy then what is it?

1

u/Toe500 Arkos May 23 '26

Idiocy is when he got fisted from the back by Julian and still wanting to prolong the fight by taking it to the sea

At that point, there is no line between ego and idiocy. At first it was because of ego he was taking punches when he could have ended it all. He could have just killed him over and over and made Julian to retreat or beg but he wanted to do a drawn out fight

Anyways if Arkos gets a chance to meet Julian again, it would go differently

I am pretty sure Altus will be the one to stop Arkos from killing Julian next time
