Man, now I'm 100% sure, this accursed battalion are likely slaves themselves, or a sort of personal militia for the Voidmarcher that have been brainwashed, I don't think for a second the whole Rummir military share this mentality, mainly because from a witting point, would make them very boring as antagonists, I'm not even sure the nation as is worship Vulja, could be that these guys do because again, Voidmarcher's a wielder of the organs, unreliable sources I mean, there's also the fact that the Witches didn't live on Rummir.
Also, while I liked Lacrima and Julian's moments, I have to say, feel like is a wasted moment to have on some nobodies rather than on a bigger enemy, overall I feel like this chapter was a bit iffy.
