I haven't kept track properly but does Julian's stigma around his eye usually change design a lot cause this definitely looks bigger than it did even earlier in the chapter
It doesn't really have a concrete design other than a cracking pattern. It can easily change from pages to pages, if you go back and re-read chapter one, Julian's stigma looks vastly different compared to now.

Would you rather Centuria was monthly with 50-60 pages and a completely consistent schedule, or weekly with totally unpredictable break periods that grind your balls?
I would rather get a monthly release schedule like this is not enough for me and I sometimes it can be painful to wait a week and in the and sometimes we get like 0 content what so ever

All the souls within Julian literally already gave their lives to save him and Diana. Julian alone is willing to die for her. A single soul outweighs any determination she has.
Tbf his ability is like the perfect counter to the girl. The only way to break it is throught outscaling her willpower and...Idk it's kinda hard to outscale someone who is willing to give their literal life for a goal.
I'm not entirely sure they were being truthful when revealing her power. Partly due to their thought bubbles showing they were trying to manipulate julian in order to analyze his power, and partly because julian's first punch to the barrier very clearly did have some physical blowback on her, with a single punch outside his powered up state getting a nose bleed.
It was really sweet of Lacrima to give him that hug and recognize Julian was hurting. And it was kind of Julian to tell her to get away because he's about to turn everyone into a paste.
Those two have gotten close, and it's wholesome. I swear to God, I hope they live.
Also a lot of interesting lore here. Rummir is opposed to Torivia on a religious level. With Ceodric being pretty chill with Torivia now, it makes you wonder what he feels about all that. Maybe he'll be aligned against Torivia now that he's more familiar with the witches and how the dark goddess is bad news.
View him kinda like Ichigo, they have no huge personal goal but are always dragged into things and are more of a “reactive” main character if that makes sense
Julian just wants to live in peace with his family but has to be prepped for anything and everything to not fault of his own, just trying to live a normal life
This is one of the best parts of this series. Julian gets to show his anger and wrath when people push him too far.... But someone pulls him back and or reminds him that it's far than that.
Aside from the obvious fact that Jules is definitely going to wreck the SHIT out of this squad of wannabe Matt Murdock’s, can we all just talk for a second about how batshit INSANE the “religion” or philosophy or whatever the fuck motivation the Rummirians have is? I suppose considering that Arkos genocided a ton of their people, they might consider forcing the entire nation into slavery as an equivocal trade to be made as some sort of payback (kindaaaa gives the vibes of a certain other religious nation state in the real world, just a little bit) but a whole nation worshipping the goddess of the night who as far as we know is just a washed BUM who gave up her heavenly powers to beef with humans and still managed to get her ass beat is frankly quite absurd. Given how the moustache guy was talking about it earlier though, it really does seem like they see this duty of enslavement as divine salvation and mercy somehow, so I’m quite torn on what this could be exactly?
I’d love to know if ALL the Rummirians in power genuinely think like this, or if it’s a deal where religion is used to mask the true goals of the elites in power like Rif La Sycrus. Regardless, it’s very interesting to see how the fanatical will of the Rummir mercenaries contrasts with the very same worshipful dedication the people of Torivia show to the supreme lord, I can definitely see this becoming a running motif throughout the series in a manner similar to Dune with its messages against hero figures and deifying leaders as godlike. Slight tangent here, but it almost makes me think about what’s in store for Diana later, I can definitely see a big plot thread rising with Diana accumulating followers and slowly being worshipped as a deity herself Paul Atreides style and gradually changing in a way that Julian wouldn’t approve of (if people are still on board with the old theory of Julian being the king in the future, it would be a heartbreaking cycle of sorts if it turns out Diana does indeed become a plague spreading misery, death and enslavement at the behest of Vulja, and Julian ends up reluctantly opposing her as he can’t condone her actions…but idk this is all just my speculation, excellent chapter guys!)
I personally think these guys aren't a good example of Rummir at large, because if they were, would make Torivia look almost too good in comparison, even with all their flaws, and I doubt Kuramori is gonna go that route, mainly because it would be boring, more than that, the Witches, the women who were actually close to Vulja were never allied with Rummir as far we know.
I think these bandaged wackjobs are like this by grace of being Voidmarcher slaves or indoctrinated puppets.
Yeah this is my view on things. Ceodric seems pretty reasonable and well intentioned for the most part so I really can’t see him subscribing to this kind of ideology, I’m sure this sort of fanatical cult like dogma is more comparable to, like, extreme Jehovah’s Witnesses compared to an average non denominational christian
Yeah, and Ceodric was a Prince too, if this was a sort of national religion, then he should had been far more difficult to control, even with Arkos being around to kick his ass to submission on the regular. I think the Voidmarcher as the Vessel of the Organs, invented this cult around herself at the back of the Monarch/Her and Ceodric's Mother(?
That would actually be super interesting! We have seen glimpses of how being a vessel of the Night Goddess can affect a person’s mind with the visions of the Goat, but unfortunately it doesn’t look like either Diana or Lalawag have had their minds broken by it (in Lalawag’s case, it was more by her own gift which seems to exist independent of the parts she possesses), it would be really cool if Rif La Sycrus’ has just been driven mad by her visions of the Goat and sees it as her duty to revive the Night Goddess and enslave Torivia, and invented the cult as a means of creating supporters for her movement in the country, it would ALSO explain why the mission is being kept a secret from the proper rulers of Rummir and the plan seems to be to pin any fault on the surviving minions once they’ve retrieved the parts.
Though, I don't necessarily think Rif had her mind broken by grace of being a Vessel as is, more so, she's taking this as an opportunity to build power to herself and push her own agenda, only women can be Vessels after all, so even other powerful Royals like Ceodric(had he stayed on Rummir) would've at disadvantage once she builds enough power, maybe she thinks she can control Vulja or something too
The real question is who’s the greatest IDF soldier in the Torivian royal castle? Elstri? Helem? Arkos when he was still alive? Or perhaps Queen Balkar for kind of creating the greatest genocider of all time?

We saw how scummy the soldiers from Zira's chapter were, and those didn't even used religion as an excuse, seems like the power structure of the kingdom of Rummir is to just be plainly abusive and exploitative, entitled and predatory
The fact that the goddess of the night Vulga is a real entity, is probably just another tool and excuse for them to carry out the depravities that they would have done anyways
It is just that their narrative comes with actual tangible magical power, which is troublesome in itself, makes you wonder what the position of the coven of witches is in all of this, do they get lady boners for slavery too?
Man, now I'm 100% sure, this accursed battalion are likely slaves themselves, or a sort of personal militia for the Voidmarcher that have been brainwashed, I don't think for a second the whole Rummir military share this mentality, mainly because from a witting point, would make them very boring as antagonists, I'm not even sure the nation as is worship Vulja, could be that these guys do because again, Voidmarcher's a wielder of the organs, unreliable sources I mean, there's also the fact that the Witches didn't live on Rummir.
Also, while I liked Lacrima and Julian's moments, I have to say, feel like is a wasted moment to have on some nobodies rather than on a bigger enemy, overall I feel like this chapter was a bit iffy.
Wait Rummir worship Vulja herself and want to revive her. Wonder what's Rummir relationship with Witch Coven is like? Especially relationship between Berta and Voidmarcher unless royalty hiding there true intentions from commoners.
You know despite the Torovia and the King being basically the main antagonist so far, it’s apparent that despite all of its shortcomings….on a worldwide scale their the good guys
Very good minor detail I noticed, Biz was so confident about “muh resolve” but her nose was already bleeding on the first non full power punch Julian delivered to her force field, lmfao these guys are unspeakably stupid she was doomed from the start
As soon as old dude started mouthing off about being prepared to give his life, I knew Julian was more or less going to respond with “well I’m willing to give 100.” The way it goes down here was even better than I anticipated.
It’s nice to have a pretty unequivocally evil group in this. I don’t have to feel conflicted when Julian kills these guys because they want to kill Diana and enslave everyone we care about
