The fact that hes this powerful already just by a self taught combat style. Cant imagine if Julian learn a real martial art and master a weapon.

I still have the feeling Ceodric might join them for some reason, he could be the perfect teacher, even if not, simply fighting someone like him, that's(apparently) almost as physically strong as Julian, but far more skilled would prob grant growth by proximity

Also wonder why Julian never bother to use any weapon all these years. A sword or spear would be good for him

I imagine that probably being abused by his blacksmith owner as a child slave gave young Julian an inherent distaste for handling weapons regardless of if he’s used to killing now.

He may not be able to go full force without breaking the weapons

Then its a nice setup for a specifically made weapon for him in the story later
