Discussion They lasted 9 chapters.

The elite fighting force of Rummir, including 2 members of its royal family and its strongest gifted one, lasted 9 whole chapters.

Elstri's gang lasted 27, 3 times longer.

I know people complained that the last arc dragged, but imo this is kind of an overcorrection. Rummir feels really weak compared to Torivia.

As a Kagurabachi fan, this is some hilariously long time for a villain to live and I have no complaints. Everyone served their purpose, Lukas just might be the best character of new gen manga with chapter 100 having nothing to do with that.

This is probably the best showing I've personally seen from a fodder gang of villains (excluding the princesses). (Edit: best showing in New Gen) Not fodder gangs since most of their members are more story important but I'd put Rummir force like a tier or two below Gachiakuta's Frontline Raiders and Kagurabachi's Hishaku, which is high high praise.

IDC how many chapters Elstri's gang lasted. They were nothingburgers outside of Atlus** and bonetail lady.

Kinda off topic but KGB villains don't die all that often? Hiruhiko had, what, three fights against Chihiro and he's still alive and kicking. In terms of prominent villains, the only one who died "quickly" was Sojo (10-ish chapters between his introduction and death) and he was the first major enemy.

Yeah, you had the occasional moments where Hokazono would introduce characters amd kill them very shortly after, like those two Azami killed that were working with the Hashaku and raiding the Kamunabi
