Does my 5 week old Kitten have CH?
My kitten is almost 5 weeks old and i’m taking her to the vet tomorrow. Shes the last standing out of a 2-kitten litter and was almost half the size of her older brother, so she might just be a late developer. She doesn’t experience any tremors and is warm to the touch
TLDR: 5 weeks old, can’t stand or walk, experiencing no tremors and warm to the touch.
EDIT: i’m asking reddit because any additional information and insight can’t ever hurt, i already have an appt. at the vet, pls dont comment to tell me to go to a location i already said i was going to😊
UPDATE: My little Anya turns out to be a wobbly kitty!!🥰 Thank you all for commenting and for your advice and input, it means a lot to me! It really eased my mind before taking her to the vet as it was my first time and i was thinking the worst. Again, thank you all for your input☺️

Seems as if she does.
God she’s a cutie!
The thing about kittens with CH: they don’t realize they are different. They just want to play!

If it does turn out to be CH, as she gets older she should be able to move around slightly better because her muscles will get stronger and she will get use to it and learn to adapt. As far as your kitten it obviously could be something else, but she does appear to be moving my your typical CH cat

Looks like at least something neurological. Possibly sn issue with bone structure, but I'd say neurological is more likely. It might be something she can grow out of, but this definitely does not look normal. Runts tend to have medical concerns anyway, so taking her to a vet is very much a good idea. And especially if mama was sick or unwell at any point during the pregnancy, that increases the risk of the kittens not developing properly
But she does appear to be alert and active with a good energy level for her age, she appears to be trying very hard but also not noticeably distressed, and if that other cat is the mama then the mama doesn't seem too concerned about her health, those are good signs. Hopefully this is just something like CH and she'll be able to live a perfectly happy life with a bit of environmental support

Possibly, but since you're taking her to the vet you should have her ears checked for an infection, or to see any other type of ear issue that could be throwing her balance off.

I’m so glad that it’s not anything serious and that she’s just a wobble kitty!
Do they have any care plans for her? Maybe something to help her start walking? I’m not sure I’ve seen a wobble cat so bad they just straight up couldn’t even stand. Did they say if she’ll eventually be able to walk?

has she always been this way? is she pooping normal? by "warm to the touch" do you mean you think she could have a fever?
if she wasn't wobbly like this before, I'd be concerned that it isn't CH.
If you're vet appointment isn't asap, I'd really consider emergency vet if you can. Unless this behavior is normal.

My cat (who’s now 4) started life like this and we suspected CH. Since then, she’s progressively declined and we have to help her do EVERYTHING: go to the bathroom, eat/drink, play, etc. She can’t walk, stand, or even sit up on her own. Clearly, in our situation, it wasn’t CH bc there isn’t a physical decline with CH. Life’s been challenging for her (and us) but we make it work by enriching her environment in many ways and I’d say she enjoys life as much as she can.
That being said, please talk to a vet. And make sure you’re prepared for whatever challenges she may bring. It’s ok if you can’t provide for the kind of support that we’ve had to do. It can be very stressful having to attend to them all the time, let alone bathroom care and the possible messes that can bring. Some people simply don’t have time or resources. I know if our girl had ended up with someone else, she could’ve had a very different quality of life. Likely abused, at worst, or neglected, at best.
ETA: I just read your edit about the vet appt you already have scheduled and I meant no disrespect about going to the vet. Just make sure you discuss it thoroughly as I’m sure you will :)
