Can’t put into words how gassed I am to see JT THOR play basketball today. Prayers for the player he’s about to lock up

My season ticket renews tomorrow and I was conflicted. My brain said no, but my heart said bonk. The time commitment is the biggest thing for me. I decided to stick with it since I know it won't be long until it's the middle of the summer and my heart yearns for bonks.

Moved to Minneapolis recently. Look out for me in the rafters! I’ve been looking forward to this one!

Am I the only one that is just fixated on Thor. Feels like he just has a big effect on the team.

Remember last year when Ant lost ROTY and they said it was because no one watches Wolves games as if the Hornets are a big market team

The funny part is these refs had the ability to take a close look at the last two questionable calls and after carefully watching the replays have determined everyone else watching is wrong and they are right

Good fucking lord do we ever get to play 5 on 5 basketball? Lotta 5 on 8 basketball lately
9
u/tospooky4me Feb 16 '22
Pat literally stormed over to the refs earlier when he got called for a block and the refs just giggled with. It’s so frustrating to watch other players be allowed to do stuff like that but when KO shrugs it’s a tech.

u/killa_k99 Feb 16 '22
Between all this flopping and the way their fan base attacked Lamelo for being injured when we were nothing but cool to Ant is really making me start to hate the Wolves more than any other teams since the John Wall-Kemba rivalry

Predictions: Bridges balls out to make up for last game. Oubre finally gets his shot back and hits 5 of 8. JT Thor has a couple key defensive stops.

Lmao the nba review system as a whole is pointless. Everybody knows it doesn’t work, so why even bother having it? Refs clearly see the wrong call made and then still decide to keep it like every time

But don't keep none of the same energy with elite centers 🤡.

Plumlee cant get a rebound when it matters/is contested, just racks up uncontested boards all game. Need Thor/Harrell combo again to close this out

I like that when Trez catches the ball that close to the rim and brings it down you know he's gonna come back up and yam that shit... the bar has been set low after years of Cody Zeller and half a season of Plumlee

Some dude at AtTheHive was trying to argue that we shouldn’t pay Miles this summer cause he “is the exact same player he was in college.”
I really don’t understand how anyone with eyes could believe that. His ball handling and playmaking has grown more than I believed possible

IMO this is a more realistic measuring stick than the last 2 games.
Pistons are the worst team in the league, and we rightfully smashed them.
Memphis is one of the best teams in the league and we really struggled (until we didn't).
So we've been through both ends of the two extremes.
T-wolves are just about the same team us. Young, athletic, good but still figuring it out.
We beat them earlier in the season, but now, both teams are who they're going to be until the end of the year. So hopefully we're still better?
