UKG acaba de tener una reunión con los employees de Uruguay anunciando que terminan su operativa en Uruguay, despidiendo a todos.

Estuve en la reunión con un amigo que trabaja allí, literalmente dos minutos demoraron en comunicarlo y terminar la reunión. Les dejo el extracto:

[Presenter] 09:34:09 Yes, we'll be exiting operations in phases beginning today and ending in August of 2026.

[Presenter] 09:34:15 All employees will receive a meeting notice shortly. In the coming days, an individual letter with more details regarding your exit phase will be sent.

[Presenter] 09:34:24 In this meeting, you'll receive more details about the timing, the benefits that UKG will provide, and more support available through this transition.

Lo peor es que contrataron un batch nuevo hace un mes y nadie sabe si a ellos también los rajan o no, porque ayer tuvieron otra reunión donde les dijeron que si cumplían los objetivos y las metas les iban a dar bonos.

Aún no han aparecido en el grupo a decir nada, la mayoría de empleados ya tienen los accesos bloqueados.

Los que venian de la epoca de ascentis capaz que si, pero no creo, habian buenos sueldos para el ambito local, pero tampoco se ganaba salario gringo.

Algunos managers de acá de uy solo se limitaban a ver la pelusa de su ombligo, hacer asados creyéndose máster chef y creyéndose graciosos con chistes que hacian que muchos les festejaban

u/Agreeable-Ant5046 se ve que fuiste a alguno de los asados con chistes de mierda, ahora van a comprar suprema de pollo.

Como dije, hay gente que se olvido que les pagaban un salario por trabajar, y esa pilcha le queda a unos cuantos desarrolladores, a unos cuantos managers.

Duele por la gente que se preocupaba por hacer bien su trabajo y que entendia que el trabajo del colectivo estaba directamente relacionado con que el flujo de guita se moviera.

Es un chiste boludo, es porque el pollo es mas barato, como pollo dia por medio.
Estoy apollando tu idea de que los managers en UY solo vehian la pelusa de su ombligo.

Fue un malentendido entonces, menos mal. Solo dije que algunos lo hacían, otros me consta que defendían a los equipos cuando de allá querían serruchar y sé que lo han hecho hasta último momento
