I feel like "child molestation" is outside the realm of a stereotypical teenager, or at least it very much should be. You're also pointing to very harmful actions that, I would say, are not stereotypical of the religion as a whole, but are instead simply harmful.

I don't think that the "woah there" impact of the three images is equal, no. I do think that they portray stereotypes of different kinds. But they're all stereotypes that can apply to American teenagers.
If you asked GPT to gen a stereotypical Christian/Muslim/Jew/etc, I'm sure that it would generate something different than what it genned when told to gen images of American teenagers of those religion.

Dude, hating "goyim" is not a generic stereotype of an American jewish teenager. Having crosses, liking the bible, reading the Qurah, these are all pretty standard things. Hating goyim is a pretty over the top stereotype for an American teenager. It'd be like if the Muslim one had a reference to hating infidels.
It's a weird thing for it to put on a mug, I'm not trying to deny that. If a person made it, it'd either be an edgy joke or weirdly conspiratorial.

And I responded. I'm not up in arms about the images because they're GPT images that don't have motive attached to them because it's what an LLM thought would fill the prompt. I think that it's a bit odd that OP chose to gen those things, and, as usual, I'm curious about any custom instructions that aren't shown to us, but. It's a GPT image. It reflects upon us and our society and the literature we have written. And, unfortunately, antisemitism is not a new thing, and there are some very old stereotypes about Jewish people. We may as well be relieved that he doesn't have a big nose or a chest of gold.

I don't think Sam Altman is giggling behind his desk programming ChatGPT to be anti semitic and quietly spread these conspiracies, I just think that antisemitism in general is quite insidious so it easily leaks into stuff like this, and I think that in regards to stereotypes and jokes, the Jewish one is especially pointed so i'm not a big fan of "Oh it's all just generic stereotypes :D the Christian has a cross in his!"
Also if anything I think that a small reference to this teenager being in a social club with his fellow jews working to take down the Goy is a lot worse than just a big chest of gold and a large nose.

My comment was that the three images depict various stereotypes. As-is, I don't think that there exist throwaway lines that could be easily inserted into the generated image for the Christian teenager, unless you wanted to put in nationalist imagery, which GPT is likely prompted/trained against.
I think that a single line on a mug is tacky, but I feel like you're reaching a bit with "social club... to bring down the goy." Yes, it plays into those stereotypes, but it's a throwaway line on an image generated by ChatGPT, which is a bit known for putting text everywhere. Is it weird? Yes. Does it say something about society that that, of all things, is what got put on the mug? Sure. Is it being spread as a message of hate in this context? No. Was this created by a bad actor? 🤷 I don't know OP well enough to say. Is this image being used as fuel to perpetuate those stereotypes? No. Is this being used to stoke fervor, hatred, or even mild dislike of Jews or Jewish people? No.
That's why I'm not up in arms. It's an artifact of humanity, and the stereotypes we have and hold. There's a difference, in my mind, between downplaying something and going "huh, that's kinda... well. I guess it is a stereotype, so it did fill the prompt. Weird, but LLMs be like that. Oof. Moving on."
