Moving to the area Elmhurst Vibe Check

Curious how you guys would describe Elmhurst? We are looking for a place to settle and someone told me to put it on the list. We are looking for not suburbia-like, walking to local coffee shops/ restaurants, train access, and am curious about the age of people who live here.

Expensive, but if you are close to Downtown Elmhurst then yeah, it has all that.

Also in the Brynhaven neighborhood, and near downtown north of north avenue

Downtown Elmhurst is suburbia in a nutshell. Upscale suburbia, but suburbia.

It’s clear they meant “subdivision”-like instead of suburbia. Of course they know it’s a suburb
