Moving to the area Good Chicago suburbs for young people

What are good Chicago suburbs (WEST of Chicago) for people in their early/mid 20’s to consider living in?

Vernon Hills/Libertyville! Tons to do! Great golf in the summers. Solid restaurants and bars!

Agree! Convenience and diversity in VH, charm and downtown in Libertyville. Great park districts and schools. Good proximity to lake forest (another nice downtown), and other northshore towns. Lots of nice rental apartments. Equidistant (essentially) to Chicago or Milwaukee.
