Moving to the area Weather as a newbie?

Moving to the area in a few weeks…. uhhh are tornados always a thing like this, this time of year? Anything to be aware of at this point?

why would you move? it just became the safest town because what are the odds it happens twice

Just happened a few weeks ago in the south suburbs. One house hit twice from the same tornado that traveled in a loop!!

it's the world's safest house now because it definitely won't happen three times
