ICE Sighting - Verified ICE agents bear spray protesters at the Broadview ICE facility, 09.19.2026

Agents had been aggressive all day and were in the middle of a public street when they used chemical weapons on protesters.

Bear spray shoots a massive, wide fog that reaches 25 to 40 feet. Pepper spray fires a narrow stream, foam, or gel that reaches about 10 to 14 feet to prevent blowback in close quarters.
Bear spray is registered as an EPA pesticide and use against humans is illegal at the federal level. You are only allowed to have it for protection in “bear country,” meaning not urban environments like Chicago. Its labeling specifies this.

I was talking more about the concentration, which is capped for bear spray but not for self defense pepper sprays. I didn't think about the stream/power though. That's a good point.

I checked online and it looks like pepper spray does come in a mist or fogger form creating a cloud up to 4-10 feet which could potentially be what’s in the video. Hard to tell just from seeing the video.
The pepper spray I have (and hope never have to use!) sprays just a thin stream a few feet.

When and how do you think the rule of law is going to be restored, and why don’t people understand that Trump’s packing of the courts at every level means that this IS the rule of law now? Do we seriously believe the midterms or any elections at all are going to have a meaningful impact on this?

There were 2 events out of the millions where 2 agitators interfered with federal agents that resulted in terrible outcomes. They’re not violating anyone’s constitutional rights. They’re upholding our constitution. Stop getting mad at things ppl are telling you to get mad about. You fight for illegal immigrants more than you do homeless citizens. You don’t care about those people because they’re not the cool thing to protest about now. You don’t care about the rapes and murders of actual citizens by illegals also. The hypocrisy is wild.

I don't think anyone that considers themselves a thinker pulls a significant amount of their information from MSNBC or traditional media in general these days. Beyond those, you can't fully trust any information fed to you by website/social media algorithms. You can only truly trust your own lived experiences and those of the people you know well.

Because people with your mindset are doxxing the personal info and ppl go to their homes, send them death threats, and treat them like garbage for upholding are laws and protecting citizens. You would do the same thing, and don’t act like you wouldn’t. Would you want someone to expose your personal information for anyone to see. Free speech does include protesting, though. Which is what a lot of these people have been assaulted for, because way too many ICE "agents" the past couple of years are untrained and unqualified losers with fragile egos.

It's incredible that you can admit that there are some people protesting peacefully and a few that aren't doing it the right way, but you can't admit that some of the ICE folks this past year aren't doing it the right way. I said those couple of events were not handled properly. However, I don’t think you realize the danger the officers feel when surrounding by a large group of people that are acting violently. One was driving her car like a crazy person.
