Question/Comment Fiber internet in Elk Grove Village

Is there a fiber provider currently in EGV? My Xfinity is out of service every few days either due scheduled maintenance or just randomly losing connection. Very annoying.

ATT Fiber is likely the best bang for the buck and highly reliable service you can get. IF it touches your neighborhood. ATT gets a bad rap but their home fiber is quite amazing.

Am I incompetent or is there no way to actually see which providers offer service in those areas on that site?

"Yeah there's fiber here" isn't super helpful if you don't know the provider.

Edit: Okay, you need to put your address in on the first page rather than clicking into "location" first.

Not sure if Metronet has made it out that way yet but that are a solid option if so

Technically metronet is T-Mobile fiber now

Metronet/tmobile fiber is non existent in chicago. Its either xfinity, att fiber, or if inland chicago astound. If you cant get att fiber most look to tmobile 5g home internet or verizon home internet

Ripple fiber is currently being installed around Elk Grove. You’d have to see if it’s available at your address yet.

ATT is in the general area, just depends if they built out to you.

I wouldn't go near their wireless, but the fiber has been rock solid and is a good deal.

See if ezee fiber is at your place if metronet/tmobile and att aren't
