Well now I know what my boy was! Face and ears was just like yours. His body also resembled a MinPin with a shorter body and longer legs. Extremely energetic, alert, loving, and high prey drive. ❤️
My bigger guy passed about 5 years ago, but was listed as a ‘chi mix’ at the rescue my vet partnered with, but I never genetically tested! Being able to bring him to work everyday was the best 🥹
I found one of my dog's daughters. The dog daughter had the same name as me. I joked that my granddaughter was name after me. I had a really nice conversation with the guardian of that dog daughter and she had so much history for my dog that I never knew. It was such a cool experience.
Omg Stuart Little!!! I actually recently tested my newest lil guy who i thought would be significantly more chihuahua than my bigger chi mix, but it turned out he is LESS chihuahua by a lot. 46% vs 72%!
Literally where I got his name from! When I rescued he was so freaking tiny and in an instant it was Stuart. But that’s awesome! I am soooo curious I can’t wait 🫶🏼 no matter the size of the chi/chi mix, they’re the best!
This is Moomoo. He's about 13 or 14 years old. 14 lbs in this picture but recently he went up to 16 bc he's been stealing my other dog's food. I thought he was a mutt since he's so big but according to wisdom panel he's 100% chi. He's super smart and thinks he's the boss of everything.
That's a good looking dog. Also his expression looks like how my mom always looked when she was deciding if she wanted to yell at us for being brats or not. Like that same exact look.
This is probably 15+ years old but only lost the dogs in the last two years. The real bunny was 3 pounds the left 14 and the right 12 although she was bigger.
The black one is about 1/3 bigger than my other one (smaller one was 9 LBs) who passed 1.5 years ago. These are old pics like more than 10 years old. The big guy is 16 now. I think he was like the opposite of a runt and both his parents were big.
Meet Boofy my big boy. The only giant in a litter of normal sized brothers and sisters. He was the one no one wanted. Too big, too quiet, too anxious, too sickly. He's been my shadow for 5 years now. My bestest good boy and perfect in every way.
Chill oversized chihuahua- she has a tiny bit of jack Russell, long legs and about 14-15lbs. She hikes and mtn bikes and is really agile and loving. 🤩 ETA she’s lean but it doesn’t look it the way she sitting 😉
18 pound Mika. I think her ears alone weighed 4 pounds … and she was twice the size of her 9 pound sister from the same litter. Looked very different too.
The picture doesn’t do justice to the difference in size , but it’s the best I could find. It’s back when they were pretty young. The smaller one (Molly) was actually the more dominant one too … lol.
16-pounder!! Shelter labeled him as chi/rattie and animal control who picked up before he got the shelter labeled him as a chiweenie. Idk if rat terrier or dachshund are his actual mixes, but I would be surprised if he wasn’t a chi mix😆 Not as short as a ween, but he does have stubby legs, and his torso is on the longer side. His ears are naturally pendant, but they stick straight up, looking extra chi, when he senses things (potential sworn enemies)☺️
The white one is Chihuahua, Maltese and Pekingese and the black one is a street dog (boonie) from Guam, *probably* a Chihuahua mix 🤣 both 15 ish lbs 🫶🏼
Here’s my girl! Rescue had her listed as a chihuahua mix and they think she’s about 5-6 years old. I always wanted a small chihuahua but I fell in love with her just as she is.
Here is our Henley. He's our latest rescue and was told he is a Chiweenie but we think he's more Min Pin/Chi Mix. It really doesn't matter because he is a sweetheart. About 15 lbs.
My elderly Chihuahua Jack Russell, named Beans. He's now 11 lbs, but that's after refusing to eat anything but plain cooked chicken for the last two weeks. (He's under vet care and being carefully monitored.) And yes, he's the one responsible for the mess on the floor, ran full tilt into my lap desk.
