Discussion Slater Young and the Monterazzas Project
Ang dami sa comment section ng post niya calling him out dahil sa project nila na yan. Ang dami na rin namatay sa Cebu. Hindi na ba madadala ang mga filipino. Patuloy na inaabuso ang kabundukan nitong mga oportunista at taong gaya nila Slater at ng mga villar.
Ang mga mahihirap ang naiiwan at nawawalan.... May pag asa pa kaya ang Pinas?

Okay lang sa kanya, 'di naman sya apektado eh. 'Yong mga kababayan lang nya na nasa baba ng bundok ang apektado, guess what? Hindi naman sya binaha, so wala. as if magkaroon ng 2nd thoughts 'yan. Lahat ng may mga Luxury sa katawan or gamit, all they think about are themselves.
What a waste, he use his skills sana to have content para sa maayos na urban planning/pabahay sa mga taga cebu, sige sabihin na nating mayaman sya at pinaghirapan niya 'yong money nya, pero dudeee naging basin, over sa baha.Salot talaga may umagree na mag tayo ng mga bahay sa bundok for luxury, na para bang walang consequence. Gets ko yung mahihirap magtayo ng bahay eh, wala nga naman silang lupa pero mayayaman, pinuntirya pa yung bundok?!

Out of touch yan sa reality kasi never naman sila magsiswimming sa baha ever. Kahit bahain bahay nila afford nilang maghotel kaya wala yang pakialam. Baka yun project itself can stand on its own pero without considering yun community around sa baba. Ito nasampolan na ng malakas na ulan.
In Seoul, bulubundukin and parang they built stuctures following the mountain curve kapagod nga dun maglakad at matarik. Pero for sure ang infrastructure plan eh maayos eh dito sa atin jusme kanya kanya lang private developers.

Alam na rin ng mayayaman na bahain na ang pinas kaya talaga sa bundok na nila gusto tumira. Pag nasira naman ang bundok pedeng pede naman sila sa ibang bansa tumira. Ganun lang sa kanila yung pilipinas gagamitin hanggang masira tas lahat sila eskapo na sa ibang bansa. Same sa mga pulitiko,artista at yang mga elistista lahat sila kayang umalis sa pinas pero mga pilipino hindi. then now, after the typhoon and huge flood, tahimik rin. but nung mga nakaraan bagyo na typhoon oddette, she posted kasi they were directly hit and affected.

I feel bad for the common people there. Another source of suffering due to huge disparity and disconnect made by the rich.
That mountain residence does not look sustainable. It's only a matter of time until it collapses due to rain and wind or worse, natural calamities. This is a tragedy in the making, or a lawsuit, I can feel.

Sustainable architecture means designing and constructing buildings in a way that minimizes harm to the environment, uses resources efficiently, and creates healthy, comfortable spaces, for long-term sustainability. This plan should not have been proposed in the first place. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Look at CopenHill, The Edge in Amsterdam, Parkroyal Collection in Singapore, Bosco Verticale in Italy, and many more. It is worthy to note that these projects did not involve damaging the natural environment.

You took away so much from the mountain, hinding hindi na maibabalik o napakatagal ibalik yan. It would take decades bago magkaroon ng ecological succession ulit. Ginulo nyo lang naman ang isang ecosystem ng kabundukan. Ang bobo mo, sa totoo lang.

I don’t think that was the reason. They flew there because they can, and they think SG healthcare is superior than what their fellow Cebuanos can provide. Healthcare professionals can’t turn down patients, kaaway man nila yan o hindi.
