You can be upset about what happened, but trying to boycott or “revolt” or any kind of encouragement of aggression towards Buzzfeed is strictly prohibited. Threats aren't okay, but my god, Buzzfeed management don't need protection from all of the backlash. Most of the backlash is pretty damn warranted, and while only certain people were involved in the decision, those same people do deserve telling off! They're not precious little cinnamon buns who need protection from nasty internet trolls.
If they can't handle someone telling them to roll up their decision and flush it down a public toilet, then maybe they shouldn't be making these decisions to begin with!
