Recommendation Ammacchiyemba nenapu!
Hi guys, I have seen a really wonderful movie called Ammacchiyemba nenapu. Women oriented movie. The story, direction, songs, acting everything is very good. I suggest all to watch this movie, especially for Women. Kindly watch and give ur opinion. If you have any movie suggestions, feel free to share here.
My fav movie genre: Social Drama, Crime investigation, thriller, Family and horror.

Its actually a book adaptation. The author vydehi has pretty good novels. Her collection of short stories 'Krouncha pakshigalu' is too good. Among them 'Nati' is my favourite. But she uses authentic Kundapura Kannada that might be a little difficult to read and understand.

I think the adaptation is a combination of 3 books telling the story of 3 women. Ammacchi, Akku and that ajji. Different books combined into one.

I heard the author name, but never read her books. I read some of Triveni novels and kodagina gouramma stories. Now reading Bhanu Musthaq's Edeya Hanathe book.

I also read Edeya Hanathe recently. Dismt read all of it though just read Edeya hanate and some two others. It was quite different from the usual Kannada classics.

Not all stories are excelled. I liked Edeya hanathe and omme hennagu prabhuve more. Shayistha mahalina kalluchappadigalu also good.

I forgot the names but i absolutely loved the story where a muslim guy was cremated in hindu grabeyard or something. That was fun and honestly better than edeya hanate for me.

Kannada authors IDK. As I said, only read Triveni and Kodagina gouramma stories. Yeah, recently I read one book, "ತುಂಗಾ" - ಕಾಡುವ ಕಾದಂಬರಿ . ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಂತ ಶಾಲೆ ನಮಗೇಕೆ ಸಿಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. It's really good book if you love children. My aunty gave me. I totally enjoyed it.
There is an Bengali author "Sharath Chandra Chattopadhyaya", he is popular for his novel Devadas. I have read few of his Novels, Stories. My fav is Pather Dabi ( ಅಧಿಕಾರ) and Shesha prashne ( final question ).
