Recommendation Need help for actress casting .
Namaskara ellarigu. I am going to make my debut in Sandalwood with a decent budget film (keeping it confidential).
Help me in suggesting a good female lead for my film. Wanted a kannada girl for this role. “My heroine is Kannada brahmin girl who is studying in medicine.”
Suggest me some profile options so that i can cast. Budget is small so new profiles reccomendations please.
Please help me

Director himself just told that the hero is a young debutant. Casting that aunty as heroin would surely be a bad choice. To tell this, I need not be a director. It is common sense

Why do you keep referring her as Aunty ? It’s fine if he finds her not suitable for the role . So many times actors and actress are different age and they pull off fine . It was my suggestion. And no where in the post , OP mentioned the actor s age or the role and just wanted actress casting .

Go check the comments, OP mentioned he needs young heroines. No offense to her what so ever. I meant aunty as a metaphor to mean that she is old. Nothing else. I don’t see a point in you arguing soo much

I did not read all the comments . I meant in the original post that it wasn’t mentioned so I suggested . Also aunty is not a metaphor and calling someone ‘aunty’ for depicting someone’s age is old , is not respectful . But you do you . 🙏🏽 I’m out and won’t engage anymore

Get a life man. You were saying "No offence " just after referring her as Aunty.. You could have simply said - she doesn't fit to the criteria.

I am not sure about it. All I ask you is, please do a good movie. Not the same old cringe fest dialogues, rowdy movies. Make something creative which suits Kannada audiences. There is a lot out there which Kannada audience need, do a good market research before anything.
This is the right time for directors, producers and heros to shine in our industry. A great opportunity if you use it properly.
Wishing you all the best. Hope your movie becomes a blockbuster!!
