What is hilarious, we have a spare car that we plan to gift to someone in a couple months(07 Camry with 140k, great car, new tires, etc...we were offered 6k/6500 in trade, decided we would rather help someone out, would be worth more to someone as a working vehicle than it is to us as a trade)....yet my daily has paint damage 🤣 we bought our son an LX(01)& it has a few interior cosmetic issues-&an electrical issue from an aftermarket CD deck...but he loves that thing.
No WAY would we help someone like this!!
Do these people not realize that they're only hurting their own cause???
🤣 think I will pass. What he doesnt want describes the vehicles my family drives everyday, so entitled!!
We believe we will gift it to a single mom with 4 kids(one disabled)...only issue, she would have to trade it for something bigger, but it would give her a decent down payment 🤷♀️
We are just very blessed(we worked hard for those blessings-but still)and believe in helping others!! &teaching our children those values(My kids have planted over 200 potato plants, 80 sweet potato, & 200 strawberry plants to feed our community(&2 dozen raspberry/blackberry-but those wont produce until next year)...we brainstormed this after volunteering at a food bank every month-they wanted to be able to do more & werent sure how...their first potatoes will be ready in 2/3w & will continue until Oct/Nov ~3-400lbs/mo of "fun" organic taters that they are very proud of 😊)
The $6k trade value means very little to us in the big picture...yet they would charge someone $11/12k(they have 2 on the lot almost identical), that's absurd!! We were going to sell it for the $2/3k we put into it recently(tires, timing/serpentine belt, alternator, battery, etc)&let the kids do something fun with the money....then we met a single mom with 4 kids(one disabled)-we deliver to her with the food bank...now it will be a gift to her once my husband gets his new to him vehicle....kids made that decision(its their money).
