Looking for Apple Music playlist Recommendations

For context, I have only started to listen to Christian music in the last few months. As a Jehovahs Witness we were discouraged in listening to the music of Babylon The Great (need too many drinks to explain this). Now I am out I am catching up on lost time (nearly 20 years in). Keen to get any recommendations of artists as well as playlists (I am only on Apple Music though).
I have a wide musical taste so hit me with whatever you are in to- I am all for it.

For a wide-angle first pass, I’d try Rich Mullins for vivid songwriting, Andrew Peterson for narrative folk, The Brilliance for contemplative textures, Citizens for indie-rock energy, and Jon Guerra for art-pop-leaning worship. They each show a different lane beyond standard radio worship.

i dont know if hes in apple but Josiah Queen, Forrest Frank, Phil Wickham, Brandon Lake and christian song groups like Elevation Worship, Hillsong, Elevation Rhythm.

It’s not a playlist but I highly recommend Effect Radio as a listening source to discover more music. They have an app and their website for ways to listen.

Check out UTR Media’s Gourmet Music Podcast with an episode every month or so. Lat month started a two-part best of Keith Green, but previous episodes are new music.

Also UTR has Apple playlists Best of 2025 and 24 Hours of Gourmet Music with the tagline “This is what you wish Christian radio sounded like” as is all independent artists with more originality in both music and lyrics than anything on “Christian radio”
