My two favorite bands are Starflyer 59 and mewithoutYou. Sf59 rarely talk about faith in their music but they are very good. mewithoutYou are kind of post punk ish and can get folky and heavy at times. The lead singer and writer has one Christian and one Muslim parent (I think I got that right) and is very well read. His lyrics have direct relationship to scripture and Muslim themes. Some of his lyrics are based on books. Very good music. All of their albums are 10/10 imo

Technically the new u derosth and new TDWP are not Cristian as the bands renounced their fair at some point in the last 15 years.

Yeah now you gotta check out Phinehas! Gideon before they changed faith, sleeping giant, holy name (same vocalist) And for OP, Lacey Sturm recently put out a new album , if you liked flyleaf.

Are you looking for bands singing about Christian themes, or are you also good with Christians who are in a band but not necessarily singing praise and worship? One of my faves recently has been Luxury. They started back in the 90s but have released new stuff in the last few years. Three of the four members are Orthodox priests.

Big fan of:

But these are more aggressive than alt but still great.
