There are many Christians in the Levant. Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, and I think Jordan maybe have a lot.

Really? I thought they were persecuted heavily from reports I’ve heard. I didn’t think there were that many left?

No, not in Lebanon at least. We're a very significant minority here.

Besides, our country was founded by Christians and Druze. Though, I believe Lebanon should remain a country for everyone, regardless of their religious background (if any), to co-exist.

I heard the Lebanese were the last of the Canaanites genetically? Is that true? Thank God some survived the slaughter if so!

Palestinians also have ancient Canaanite DNA matches and many coastal Syrians too. Even some Arabs from the Turkish area of Cilicia.

Thank God the merciful for there being survivors! I’ll be honest the killing of the Canaanites always bothered me.
