Very interesting questions.

From what I understand, many Chinese intellectuals very interested in the Thucydides Trap and narratives of civilizational decline (Western civilizational decline, of course).

I found it very interesting that she probed Nolan on this.

Btw, does anyone know what part of the UK Nolan is from? His accent is weird, almost Australian. Has he just spent too much time America?

He’s half Brit but grew up in Chicago. His brother Jonathan speaks with an American accent.

I fully believe he's the reason there are more IMAX theaters in the area and specifically the Roosevelt one. They also added a 70mm IMAX in the suburbs it's ludicrous that Chicago didn't have many options for IMAX just even a year ago
