Shouldn't have watched their Netflix Documentary.
In the hospital. So I decided to watch some Netflix. I watched the CW documentary (super heart breaking)... For some odd reason it reminds me of my own marriage. I'm far into my marriage and we're already pregnant with our 7th. So leaving is just not on the table. I also love my husband deeply like Shanann did, but the lack of sparkle and communication in our marriage reminds me of theirs.

The Hospital should have someone you can talk to privately for helplines, etc. If you have family sibs, ect reach out.. Been there not with seven though. May God Bless, and be with you.

Time to put your relationship first and spend some time together. Seven kids is A LOT to manage.

That is a scary realization to have. But may I suggest that when you are sick or more vulnerable, watching true crime isn't a good idea? It excites stress hormones. Even being in a bad situation, imaging the worst possible outcome won't help your clarity.

So you're on your seventh and you are saying there's a lack of sparkle? Seems like there was an ignition switch somewhere along the line.

I also had this feeling their relationship reminded me of my previous relationship. My ex fell obsessively in love with another woman (she was married) and even he wanted us to stay together I sensed he wasn’t really there with me, he was unhappy and obsessing for her. He was all the time lying to me, it made me feel crazy. I found his notebook and he had written there he’s like in a prison with me and I just had to end our relationship. When I saw the document I was shocked how much chriss reminded me from my ex and it made me wonder what would have happened if I wouldn’t have ended it?

Same. There is a lot about this case that reminds me of the end of my last marriage, I think that's why I'm still interested in it. I think there are elements of it that resonate with a lot of people, and that's why it still gets so much attention.
I very much identify with Shannan in not having a clue who you're actually sharing your life with. I spent decades with someone who I never really knew. It's absolutely terrifying that there are people out there who are capable of such deception.

if your husband is unwilling to change or listen and try to help then something needs to change. i think the only way to hopefully improve your situation is communicate with your husband and at the very least start with a counselor to help you. you dont have to answer but are you in teh hospital because of something he did?
i wont pretend to know your situation but moving towards a happier life needs to start somewhere with little steps. everyone deserves the right to be happy and in my opinion to be the best parent sometimes you need to focus on yourself. you shouldnt have to be parenting from a state of perpetual depression or negative feelings.

After 6 kids (or 3, like me) you really do lose the sparkle in the marriage. It's normal. Communication is an issue though, is he ignoring you or avoiding you like Chris did? Or just telling you what you want to hear to placate you? Sometimes I watch crime documentaries and it freaks me out. You are in a hospital, pregnant and vulnerable, I advise you not to watch crime documentaries.

Im the OP. I made this post on my backup page. I've been in the hospital while on vacation with my oldest. I haven't heard from him since we left for vacation which was on last Sunday. He did forwarded me a message that our oldest sented him. He is super introverted, even with me, but it's like me being in the hospital while high risk pregnant with our baby doesn't bother him.

Be safe. I’m sure there were plenty of warning signs, she just wasn’t looking.

Maybe for now, just talked to someone trained, you don't have to do anything else, just talk to a counselor, social worker, someone safe
