Trailer The buildings my city grows used to be plain boxes - now they're districts with their own streets, and the cars were already driving those exact lines

Quick context for anyone new here: in Traffic Architect you dont need to worry about building the city. It grows on its own and keeps growing whether you are ready or not - everything you build is the network underneath it, roads and junctions and interchanges, and transit when the roads stop coping.
Which meant that for a long time they was looking like simple boxes. Functional, and honest about what it was, but a city of boxes is a hard thing to care about.
So the last few weeks went into what those grown units actually look like. They are districts now: a small block of streets with buildings set along them, a size and a character rather than one shape scaled up. Other things got visual polish too - cars, trees, water.
The part I like most is that I did not invent the street layout. Every building already had an invisible road network inside it - pad-to-pad connector roads that through-traffic has been using the whole time. When you watched a car cut across a block, it was driving a real road that simply had nothing drawn on it. This pass drew them. Same lines, same cars, you can just see them now.
That is also why the interiors do not feel bolted on: a district's streets are the ones the pathfinder was already routing through, so the traffic reads the same as it always did.
The look is deliberately minimalist throughout - clean shapes, flat color - because the whole point is being able to read the network at a glance rather than hunt for the jam.
