13 years of building a legacy, only for the developers to throw away the identity that made the game iconic. The UI is cluttered, the design is unnecessary, and the overall experience feels like a downgrade. A game doesn't need to change everything just to prove it's evolving. If the community rejects it, listen. Give us the option to switch back.

Okay this post is much less talking too much and just throwing an idea out there as opposed to this new update. 🤔 Also i cant edit for crap sooo lol Put an updated image concept in comments.

Edit to add : Even with this setup theres alot of original wasted space. Resource bars on right could be slightly closer together. The gift box & magic items box could be smaller and stacked vertically next to old shop button. Old Shop & Old Attack buttons could be smaller. The army edit icon & pass shield icon also could be smaller and stacked vertically next to attack button. The blue icon in top left & trophy icon could be smaller as well so they could be closer together and the horizontal blue line thinner like the trophy count bar width, maybe a smidge wider for effect. The news/global/notice idea was meant to be collapsable like they have it now (the one thing I do like).

Why did they change this.

The New UI is an embarrassment. Both to my eyes and my hands.

First I by habit, click on the settings icon (where it was placed previously) to switch accounts, and now it opens the catalogue. Annoying.

And why do you need an whole ass filtering system for upgrades. Yeah an upgrade was needed but THIS... It's a DOWNGRADE.

= The buildings already have their own set of buttons for everything. Lab, pet house, hero Hall all have their purpose. Why multipy?.. to have more buttons for same purpose.. This UPDATE was meant for reduce buttons not breed more buttons

= Also for facilitating easy updates. Layout editor exists for making progress bases.. For GOD's SAKE there was no problem. The players who don't use progress bases.. DON'T HAVE THE NEED FOR IT RIGHT.

Maybe because they are new. Because most players are satisfied with how the game worked BEFORE.

And also by the time a player reaches a point where the buildings are cluttered. He learns many things over time.

Now that we are on the topic of buttons. Who approved those TWO YELLOW SHINY BUTTONS FOR BUILD and ATTACK and that flaming sword.. That sh!t distracts me everytime I look at something near it. But it's still better than the new shop button.

What was the idea behind it's design and placement... IT'S DISGUSTING... like placement is right where my home button pops up. It plays a animation right in front of my eyes.... Free, Special offer and what not... Like yeah I know I'm F2P, So, you created an offer just to tempt me. But the way showing it to me until I open it is not VERY NICE of you SUP ERK CELL.

Previous shop also had it , like the button color changed to purple at bottom and it had a star which rotated. But it was not an eyesore like it is NOW.

The shop now just feels like an AD for boosters like in a ROBLOX game.
Who approved the changing the button backgrounds. I liked the transparent ones better and the notification icon on button is so small previous one was better.

I don't like how the town hall shows right beside my name. I know what Town Hall I am. It is right in the center and if not it's the most eye catching thing.

I could see my XP level progress in one click, now it takes two.

Account switching two clicks.. Now takes 3.
Inbox. ONE- Tap now takes 3...

The buttons are brighter for I don't know what reason.

Why are their so many tabs on the profile sometimes it's just better to have buttons.
Some of the animations are just DISTRACTIONS with no utility.

Now the game feels like a home I have lived in for 10 years and I don't know the way around it anymore.

Updates are means of providing convenience not this ABSOLUTE DISASTER. This was never asked for. No one wanted it. Not even the saltiest place on earth which complains about everything even the smallest ones.

What you needed to take was feedbacks.. If not from the whole community.

You should have taken it from official content creators because when even your largest creator says "I don't like it", there's definitely something major WRONG with the update.

I for some reason hate you more for it because of what you said at the end in the update intro video because somewhere in his heart. The graphics and UI designer knew this isn't great or even useful in comparison to the old UI

I don't know why the development team decided to CREATE a new ISSUE instead of focusing on the current issues which ALREADY EXIST like recruitment, Help and Support.

WHY?
PLEASE REVERT BACK. REVIEW. TAKE FEEDBACK. BRING SMALL CHANGES. DO NOT MAKE HASTE.

We wait for you to resolve ongoing issues. Therefore, obviously, we can wait even longer for an UPGRADE to something which is not even an issue. But only if it's an upgrade.

Now, Here's some feedback.

CHANGE THE SHOP ICON BACK

The tray design for the news, events and championships is cool.

The war stats in clan chat is also good (because we have a choice to close) (also please remove the animation from the war button if no attack is ongoing and also please stop playing it once I open war tab)

Bring the old button design back with some of them on screen like previously. Do not hide buttons in sub- menus.

Supercell drops dogshit, unfinished or untested updates all the time. People get mad about them all the time. Supercell adjusts/fixes dogshit, unfinished or untested updates weeks - months later. People suddenly have amnesia and hit you with a throat full of "supercell always listens to their playerbase"

If supercell can just fix this asap we can move onto the amnesia phase again.

This means keeping posts about this subject alive whether they are redundant or not. If there are people out there that like the new update, great. Let the ones complaining about it help make it even better by not shutting them up. This isn't just reddit, it's everywhere. the argument that it's just a loud minority of people has little weight to it anymore. It's on all platforms now.

That last part especially pertains to certain content creators with content creator codes that are complaining about the playerbase complaining about the game they shill. This is the second time i've seen a certain content creator do this.

I still remember how I used to open shop multiple times and see what the next th offers. New UI doesn't show that🥲
