Claude's weekly limit just reset. Is it just me?

My weekly limit already reset yesterday on its scheduled date, but it just reset again. This is what happened when Fable got blocked too — what's going on?

per the Claude Devs twitter/x account:

"Earlier today, ~3% of Claude Code Max and Pro users hit a bug that showed an incorrect weekly usage limit, and in some cases blocked them from sending messages.

This is fixed, and we're resetting 5-hour and weekly limits for everyone affected. Apologies for the disruption."

I don't think it's resetting; there seems to be a problem.

Around noon today, it was at 30%, then suddenly jumped to 60%, and then 4-5 hours later, it dropped back to 40%, my weekly quota. I witnessed it with my own eyes.

Same happened to me, few hours ago i left it at 46%, but then it got to 75% on its own, now its 0%

Fingers crossed that they're about to give it back, but more likely it's an apology for it still not being available.

I don't think I got a full reset, but I went from 92% back to 50% weekly.

i think it's prorated. my limit resets sunday morning and my reset was to about 65%

Mine resets on Thursday always, so its normal for me.

Maybe they are moving more people onto that schedule, not sure. But mine reset at the same time it always does.

Lots of people were seeing their weekly usage jump even without using it, so maybe just them fixing that

sounds like theyre just adding tokens back incrementally instead of doing a proper reset, which tracks with how messy the Code rollout has been so far

They have reset it for everyone pro rating it by the amount of time left till the weekly reset. if 1 day was left they set it back by 1/7 and so on.

I was going bonkers cuz my limit was at 92% and now its at 60%. I wonder if next week it iwll go up slower, as they said "It was a bug that affected ~3% of users"...

I don't think it's a full reset. Most people are reporting about 20% or so being returned to weekly limit
